Great set of trail loops that are dog friendly with amazing views at the top. Also very conveniently located. Mostly shady until the very top to get those views. There are a few benches along the various trails.

Good trail if you are just looking for a short easy loop. Not a lot in the way of vistas or epic views or anything but decent and a good one for kids.

Is it ok to do this solo on a weekend? I don’t want to be the only one on the trail.

An okay walk for families and dogs, I wouldn’t call it a “hike” per se, but we enjoyed it.

Hiked this trail this past Saturday morning. Arrived just before noon and we were done within an hour. We took our time, and took breaks as needed for my hubs who was in pain from a knotted back/neck. We also went up the steep side first. Mostly because we didn’t realize which way was what, but where’s the challenge otherwise right? I did feel bad cause my husband did have a bad back but it wasn’t intentional so he forgave me lol. All in all it was pretty easy. I would like to do it again, and a lot faster. It was pretty much shaded the entire trail. The only thing that confused me were all the different trails to take. I wasn’t sure where to go or if I went a certain way, would it lead me back to the main course I was on?

Nice options for difficulty. Pretty shady in the earlish morning 8:30-10. Lots of poison oak though if you bring your dog.

The trail was the perfect amount in the shade. The trail wasn’t too steep for biking, but rocky enough to make it fun! I’ll definitely be back

Great little trail. Well maintained and some great views!

busy Trail, but worth it for the beautiful view of Sonora at the top. uphill for the first half but my three-year-old was able to handle it

An easy going trail. Gradual inclines, clearly marked paths, and trail maps here and there to help out. Definitely a kid friendly trail. but there's not much shade or many places to stop and sit, so plan accordingly. Plus, there's lots of little exercises and equipment along the way if you want to turn your walk into a workout. I would absolutely go again.

A beautifully marked out trail. Plenty of folks and dogs out on the trail. Dog waste stations at a few points so if you need a bag, you're covered. Kid friendly, several options to take longer routes. will be back for sure!

Beautiful trail. I think we only got to see a portion of it along the creek. Nice place to kill some time if you’re not from the area though.

great hike. fairly easy. nice view of sonora at the top. will definitely return to hike again.

Good hike! My dog chose the steepest route possible but we still had a great time. Saw a few people, everyone friendly. It was a really nice hike!

Great trail with options! We did the summit and cutback trails and with the walk back to our vehicle hit 2 miles. Easy walking, clean trail and lots of nice people walking, running and biking along with us. My 3 and 5 year olds handled it all no problem and enjoyed a stop halfway for a picnic!

Lots of options for trails all easy to follow. Ive taken a few friends and family up here and its nice to have different trails for their difficulty level or depending on the weather.

We really enjoyed this hike. Parking at the park you then need to walk through a small neighborhood before reaching the actual trail (although they’ve labeled the walk through the neighborhood as a trail). We hiked the Creekside trail, the Ridge trail, the Summit trail and then returned on the Creekside trail. Our Fitbit said it was a little over 4 miles total including the walk from the car but I feel like it might have been a little shorter. Still the trail was nice, well marked and the views from the top were beautiful! Bonus....found a great B&B close by!!

Excellent trails & beautiful views. However, don’t look for the Dragoon trail. It is in the Dragoon Gulch but there are 4 trails & 3 are not shown on the map. We walked 4 miles & could have done more but started raining. I know we’ll keep returning to this hike.

Walking up to the ‘vista point’ on a wide path lined with Manzanita, at times sun-lit, is mesmerizing. Then just a tad harder up the summit trail, narrower path but still easy. Great views of Sonora and the surrounding foothills.

Great for trail running.

This is a good trail with a wide path. It is a weird trail to find as my google maps has you park near a city park and you follow the road path (marked with a hiker figure) to the trail. There is another parking lot near the trail but you have to drive through residential streets to get there.

Love that this trail has different routes, flat & hilly!!

Nice trail and puppy friendly. Only downfall was the difficulty in finding the entry to trail.
