Agree with above comment. My boyfriend is an avid mountain biker and said definitely don’t hike this route.

it is a moderately decent trail. if you want to get into the woods, it's perfect.

Nice paved trail for dogs but the trail part of the loop back may not be dog friendly.. no signs on the way up but there are signs once you meet up with graham hill trail that say no dogs. Graham hill follows the road and is noisy, not my favorite but okay to avoid out and back.

Perfect little hike for me and my toddler. She walked about 1/4 and the rest I carried her. Hold hands with little ones as the trail has steep sides. Trail was wide enough to feel safe and to avoid poison oak. Shady and cool the entire loop. If you live in San Jose, this is one of the closest hikes with redwoods. Free parking/no entry fee. Parking lot is shared with an office building. Some traffic noise for part, but it gets quiet enough to hear the birds further along. Overall quite lovely.

this is definitely a mountain biker's trail. very heavy mountain bike traffic. I can't wait to come back on my bike. definitely avoid if hiking.

Beautiful trail with river and redwood trees.

This is not really suitable for hiking. It seems like it's meant for mountain biking. It hasreally steep sections instead of switchbacks. There were quite a few mountain bikers traveling really fast downhill that came upon us suddenly, could be dangerous.

Beautiful area, but the Graham Hill part of the trail is actually along the road. The paved trail along the park is dog friendly. I think it is called Pinehill road. Beautiful park and camp ground.

Beautiful, shady hike for a warm summer day! I was not expecting to dip my toes in the San Lorenzo but the water felt great after a long descent. In early summer, the wildflowers were incredible.

It was beautiful. Mostly shaded. Only ran into a few people. There are a lot of places to enter without paying for parking. There are A LOT of trails so just pay attention to the app so you know you're on the path you want to be on.

Everything you look for in a trail! Sandy-soiled ponderosa, fern-blanketed creek-valleys, and all the oak and bay in between!
