Amazing. My pucker factor at high in the end. Do not fall my trail unless you are an expert. Have recover gear. And people to help. Did this in a 4” lift 35” tires jku

Not only is it open, they opened up another part of the trail, so now you can drive all the way to the top of that mountain with all the radio towers! I bet the view was great, but I ended up driving into a cloud. Was still very cool.

Gorgeous trail. Rocky but manageable. Doable with a stock 4runner or Taco, but I wouldn't go with street tires as there are sharp rocks all over the trail. The views are fantastic and the lake is peaceful. A few good camp sites by the lake. Don't go on a busy weekend, trail traffic can cause problems here.

Fun semi-challenging trail. '03 4runner on 35s with ~3" lift, no lockers. Sliders are highly recomended for a few rocky spots. The views and rock formations don't disappoint. The mines are fun to explore also, some of them are quite extensive.

Open 12/10/2019. This was our second trail for our 100 Off Road Trails Challenge. I really liked this short little rocky trail. There are a lot of little off shoots to have some fun! 4 wheel drive is a must. Here is a video of the trail: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XDzCYF328Y

One of my favorite trails in SoCal so far. Tried it yesterday (12/1/19) for the first time. Soooo much snow and lots of mud. I finished the entire trail in an almost stock TJ Rubicon (2 inch lift, 31s)...took about 4 hours. Had at least the rear locked for easily half the time. Not sure it would have been possible with open diffs, regardless of clearance. JKs with 5 inch lifts and 37s were helpless. Very technically difficult with the snow and mud, especially if you’re not used to it. But A+ trail overall. Amazing scenery. Summit was above the clouds.

real cool short trail. good views. I went up with a stock 07 canyon Z71. I made it through no problem. one Rocky obsticle I was worried about, but stacked some rocks and drove over with ease. Also a pretty narrow path in my opinion. There is Soo much trash on one end of the trail. Boats, beds, rugs you name it lol.

me and some friends walked along here. great views but would not reccommend walking. the only place to walk is either the road, which has no shoulder, or the ditch beside the road

Went right after rains. The grading was horrible and rocked the bolts off my Rav. Overall this trail offers more than just the off-roading itself. Lots of cool camping spots seems quite. Dirt biking and even some hiking was found. Very interesting area to explore.

Went today, it was Closed due to rain and snow went to holy jim and messed around in some mud Seems like it is open to hiking

Private property now

Went today 11/29/19 lots of snow. Went on my 3rd Gen Tacoma with a 6 inch lift with mud terrain tires. And a few times going up a hill I started sliding out of control and missed sliding into the wall by inches but fun over all, had to turn back half way as it was getting dark. It was my first time and will be going back more often

This trail is currently closed because of the “rain” can’t even do some mudding because it’s supposedly too dangerous. Bs

went out this morning had lots of snow. It was a blast, the snow added a bit of a challenge but was fun all the same

We went from Joshua Tree NP out to Hwy 62 on 11/26/19. The desert road is very rough as far as washboards. Hard to go faster than 10 Mph without beating up my 2011 Rubicon and rattling everything loose. As far as the 4WD sections go, the mountain pass definitely had some spots that would have been challenging for anything other than a lifted jeep. Overall, I gave it a 3 because of the rough roads and lack of signs to easily navigate my way back to Hwy 62. But I would do it again.

Cleghorns is always a fun trail to run. dont let the rating fool you the last major off shoot at puckerhill can cause carnage if your not careful. Bypass if you dont have big tires, lift and recovery points.

Perfect trail to test the capabilities of your rig

This trail is actually a walk on the road. It is November and the road is closed so there was no traffic, but we did not get our hiking boots dirty. The AllTrails map shows a straight red line that runs right next to and crisscrosses the road, but we never found any trail next to the road and everyone we saw was also walking the road. The second thing to note is Mt Shasta is not pretty this time of the year. Without wildflowers or snow it is pretty dreary.
