Great views and perfect Sunday distance

Stunning views! Lots of options for trails and exploring! Will be back soon!

Absolutely beautiful. We will be going back sometime in the near future.

Beautiful hike! The views are stunning. You get a steep hike at first and a nice downhill at the end. Reference your map as it’s easy to go off the trail. Go early too! We started at 8 am and it was perfect!

Absolutely loved this hike! So much to see and do. There is something for everyone. Moderate hike with amazing views.

Beautiful scenery. This hike is relatively easy (some parts uphill), and goes through various landscapes, from coastal views to historical landmarks. Perfect time of the year to catch the blossoming flowers. Make sure to go to the lighthouse. Unfortunately for us, NPS only allows access to it on Sundays from 12:30pm to 3pm this time of the year.

Muir Beach's trails are pretty epic. Drone footage that I took: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NhoNPYTFIEg

Beautiful hike that includes histrionic elements along the Nike missile site and the gun battery.

I did this hike on my own, it was great. The weather was perfect and the views are outstanding. Totally doable, but an excellent work out.

Beautiful and relatively relaxed trail that goes inland and to the beach.

Easy hike but also easy to loose the trail.
But that’s also because I was distracted by the views. Stunning. Fun. Do it.

Amazing trail. Love the stair case and also the old base! Good for all types.

Pretty easy hike with nice views. Plenty of parking with public restrooms.

Beautiful views and a good variety of trails to mix it up.

Majestic views, frog concert and sunset upon returning to the trailhead. First part is all up last part you get to cool down and be in the shade if you are hiking later afternoon. Spotted 2 coyotes at 30 feet.

Great trail , beautiful views , other trails you can take for more scenery , love the coast views

great bridge views, little crowded, very windy

Beautiful hike with uninterrupted views on the coastline. Be prepared for changing weather (fog, cold winds...). Also, the lighthouse was opened to the public from 12:30, so a 9:30 start from Muir Beach is enough to arrive there just on time.

Enjoyed this hike and great with the pup!

Amazing views, open trails - great for dogs.

Awesome hike and beautiful views! The dogs loved it.

Great hike with nothing but scenic views. There is not a lot of shade along the trail, and make sure to bring water.

Great Hike. Dog friendly. Some hills but not to steep. Beautiful views of SF. Bring water.

Great trail with amazing views. Moderate difficulty, but very doable

A nice hike with nice ocean views. Part of this loop is along the road which isn’t great. It becomes no pets allowed about .3 miles away from the lighthouse so know that you won’t see it if you bring the pup. Also gets very crowded near the lighthouse.

This is a beautiful hike. Plenty of parking down by the beach. The beginning of the trail has labels for leashed dogs but once you clear crowds and get on the fire road many people had dogs off leash. I started hiking in the afternoon and return to the trailhead around the time for sunset. Very serene to watch the sunset on the cliffs overlooking the water and hearing the waves below. The trail was not that crowded. The elevation change if you do the entire loop is a nice little workout. Once the sun was down I even heard tons of frogs in the field beside the parking lot. If you do the full loop and have dogs off leash make sure to put them back on leash when you get to the lagoon area. The cars surprised me around the corner as the road was right there but doggies were safe.
