Good training trail for uphill elevation hiking. Trail rises continually from the parking lot.

Great hike lots of shade, easy to get turned around if you didn’t have this app to follow, many trail intersections, there is a nice pond and at the top of the ridge great views.

Nice hike with lots of beautiful scenery and a good amount of wild life  its a good hike if you want to get a good hike in for the whole day and feel it the next day. I enjoy going once a week!

You can see SF from Gunsight Rock on a clear day! Nice hike. Dog friendly.

Beautiful. Moderate climb, the marsh at the end is gorgeous. Combination of burnt, new, and existing plant life. Rocky paths, not many people out there, occasional mountain bikers.

a lovely walk if you need something easy going or want to do a talk-and-walk or jog. benches nearby, good for picnics!

one of my favorite easy going hikes. beautiful views in the fall overlooking Windsor.

this montain demands the best of your it is a great workout.

nice rock garden for mountain biking

Absolutely wonderful trail! It comes to a gate that you must pass, then you get to experience some friendly cows if you are lucky. There are a couple points that will definitely get your heart pumping, so be prepared for a decent hike but its well with the trip and perfect for running!

This was a wonderful trail for the whole family! We brought both kids, 9 and 3, with their bikes and we ran! The trail was nicely paved and easy for them to join!

Good trail, usually not crowded, and you might meet a couple of cows & horses along the way. Great views all the way, especially at the peak.

love this trail. Quick and easy, great view from the top, love the cows

Beautiful hike with lots of variety. About half was shaded, the other half exposed. Lots of wildlife including flogs and deer.

Beautiful view of Santa Rosa, can’t beat it at sunset.

Beautiful view!!! Kicked my Mo F***** asssss!!!!!

I love this trail it's so nice to get off of work at 4 and be able to head up for a quick and decent hike. would recommend to anyone!

This trail is just down the street from my house. At this writing the trail is open an cleared but there is a great deal of evidence of the October wildfires. The park suffered a great deal of burn but is open and clear.
The level is probably difficult with large rocks and roots in some places. Lots of hikers, mountain bikes and runners but it’s never too crowded.

all the park had to offer was the view from the top! not worth $7.00 to park should be free

Great hike. Well maintained. Amazing to see the wildlife recovering after the fire. Everything was so green and lots of new growth. Highly recommended.

Beautiful views looking at the hills and mountains in the distance. Also amazing views of the city, always cool wildlife to watch like turkeys, skunks, hawks, slugs, etc. cows are also on premises and don’t mess with you. Pupper and I love going for our daily hikes here, there are multiple trails some harder than the other but also some moderate ones. Definitely recommend!

I noticed lots of 4+ star ratings on this trail but 3 stars on sugarloaf vista, just a few miles away. They aren’t really even comparable from a views and terrain diversity perspective. maybe it’s the mountain biker preference for this trail.

Great loop to run :)

We went in March on a cloudy day but the green rolling hills and trees made for lovely views. It was half exposed, half in dense tree cover. I loved that there were intermittent signs about the forest regrown after the fire.

It is a beautiful hike, but many bikes on the main trail. we got lost for a little bit because the rain has washed away some mud, and plants are thick. overall, it is a fun hike

Was beautiful just the hardest hike I’ve ever been on yet worth it when you get to the top.

This trail should be rated moderate, at best. There are not a lot of steep climbs. It is a bit long if you’re not used to hiking 6 miles.

It is steep in some spots but overall a great hike and workout! Got to the top and it was an amazing view! Great workout for my dog too.
