Good exercise loop. I walk through the groundskeeping parking lot, then behind the baseball diamonds and main parking lots down to the basketball courts for a full walk.

I started hiking this as a fun weekend activity but recently started making it one of my weekly workouts. It’s perfect to workup a good sweat and get in some challenging cardio. It takes me between 25-35 minutes generally. Fairly busy trail, so watch out for other people, but everyone has always been friendly and said hello. The views are awesome, though the 5 impacts the view a little, but it’s nothing that will interrupt your hike. Challenging and quick.

I took the PCT from the west side of San Francisquito Cyn Rd up to the top of the ridge. There is a trail that continues along the ridge line to the summit. There is a radio tower, and some large pines with some shade at the top. summit is about 4600 ft. Excellent trail with outstanding views. Great trail to explore during the cooler months.

The rocks were great to climb on. The trail was a little hard to follow in certain spots but it was still a good hike. Not that strenuous.

This was an awesome trail! It’s super easy to hike, but it’s the rocks that are the star of the show! Get ready for some gorgeous geology and great views! I would recommend going off the trail where permitted (there are signs in certain places saying you shouldn’t) and clambering up the boulders

Awesome trail, we went with a gsd and a 2 year old and had the best time. Not very difficult and not very long trail

Alright but you can find better rock formations in Alabama Hills and Joshua Tree.

Great short hike with good views from the top.

I really enjoyed this hike. Very short and sweet. When you park, park all the way at the end of Cleardale across from the house with the white fence. Do NOT park directly in front of the house, but along the brick wall. I would recommend starting the trail at the northern side and turn right to go down the southern side. Careful coming down the south side; it is very steep and not friendly for those with knee problems. Get to this trail via Railroad (then onto 13th), not Golden Valley. I don't know why Maps leads to the entrance from Golden Valley; it's the firebreak.

I absolutely LOVE this hike. It takes me about an hour to finish, so it's great for a quick evening workout. My only recommendation to hikers is if you are going in the evening, make sure to take insect repellant. I can't wait to go on the larger loop!

Short loop, has an incline on way, i suggest stay left and come back the other way.

No shade. Starting counterclockwise a nice trail thru canyon then fireroad to top. This app routed me thru residential landscape area near the end.

Easy to get to it from the highway. Many people taking photos in nice dresses, etc. massive picnic table areas for large events. Some rocks are very close to the parking so you don't have to necessarily hike to get awesome selfies.

Beautiful area filled with easy hikes for the family. You could spend most of the day here. They have a nice visitor center with clean restrooms inside. There are plenty of picnic tables and port-pottys throughout the park as well. Stop in the visitor center and grab a couple of trail pamphlets that explain the history of the park.

Spectacular scenery, very kid-friendly, with lots of easy trails winding through the rocks. Don't worry about following the route. If you're enjoying the park vorrectly, your track should look like a drunken bloodhound's. Wander, climb some rocks, enjoy the views!

Good hike overall; the rocks are awesome and the history is cool to learn about. The trails are pretty easy to follow and parking is almost always available. There are crowded sections, but as you meander along this trail, it thins out.
There are some cool spots to climb up some or the rocks and play around a bit.
Would recommend this as a nice day hike, and would also recommend stopping in the little towns nearby for some great diner food!

Central Park is a great location if you are getting started on your fitness routine. There are a wide variety of trails, from flat, paved paths, to steep use trails that climb the hill. With so many options, you can customize the length and difficulty of your hike. And since Central Park is relatively small, it's virtually impossible to get lost!

Perfect for beginners and family outings.

Pretty cool/easy hike! I came on a Wednesday around 1p and it was practically empty. I would consider myself a hiking novice (I own no hiking shoes and have terrible direction, but have an athletic background that makes my endurance for hikes pretty good); that being said, hiking up those nice rocks are pretty easy and quick. I was only here for about an hour with my two shibas as there was another doggie barking at them on the actual trail. My dogs fared well, I kind of just wandered around what was in the main lot. Maybe next time I'll try to locate some real trails - I saw mention of a cave? My two medium dogs did fine; they've hiked up to 5-6 miles before so this was more like a very long walk for them. The rock formations are beautiful! Really cool and not too far from LA.

amazing, beautiful!

I hike this trail frequently with my dog. It's our favorite place to hike in our valley. She's more of a mountain goat than a cattle dog, so she loves going off trail to do a little rock scrambling.

Está muy bonito todo

Great family hike, lots of trails. The scenery is beautiful, weather was 79 degrees. The kids enjoyed climbing the rocks., easy hiking unless you’re climbing to the top of the rocks. Enjoyed the drive there.

Easy hike with lots of paths. Very hard to get lost, longest hike will take around 2.5 hours. Great for kids and families. Nice place with great views of the rock formations.

Good for an adventure :) lots of small paths leading in lots of different directions but very difficult to get lost.

Beautiful place to explore with family.

Pretty nice hike with little human traffic - especially if you go in the early morning. There are multiple parking lots within the hiking area but they open at 8AM. If you decide to go a little earlier, you can park on the side of the road and just shimmy your way through the gates.

Once you get to the rocks, you can choose to climb it peer down and get major vertigo (i did - but it was worth it!). Aside from the main attraction (the rock), there are other trails you can take and go on your own little adventure - just don't get lost.

Overall, a pretty nice hike that's not too difficult at all! I recommend wearing a power rangers or star trek cosplay on cause this is where they actually shot some of the scenes for those shows. I was expecting to see Zordon but realized he died in the first movie. :(

Awesome Amazing Hike! Beautiful views ! I recommend Hiking shoes!
I will def be going back!

Such a beautiful place to explore! Fun on trail and off!

My 6 year old son and I tried this trail with my 78 year old mother. Mom did well up until she saw the portions that ran along the mountainside and then she decided to turn around. This morning, my son and I tried again. This time we made the entire loop. My son was very enthusiastic about our having found a trail he could complete in its entirety. If it wasn't for her fear of heights, I bet mom could have done the whole trail, too.
