It’s a fine way to get some exercise. But, along a road the entire time. I like the length though.

Beautiful day. Windy

Nice little “jungle” walk in the heart of the city! The views are rare because of the dense trees but we did get one great view of Marin and the GG bridge. Our route deviated a bit from the one on AllTrails but I think ours was prettier, staying off the roads. Watch out for bikes — trail is very narrow.

Beautiful flowers blooming this time of year. It’s great to have an area like this in our metropolitan city.

Peaceful and lovely trail! I really appreciate how people are practicing the proximity requirements to keep all of us safe! Thank you! I’ll definitely come back with my dog here!

I loved this trail, it’s so beautiful when it’s sunny out. It had just rained earlier in the day, and there were a few muddy spots, but nothing so bad that you couldn’t traverse. Very well maintained trail. I went the reverse way - parked on Lincoln Blvd. (next to the Battery Crosby trailhead/Sand Ladder), and I’m pretty glad I did. Made for longer descents starting and finishing, and only one steep climb back up from the beach.

Would recommend for a quick outing during COVID-19 outbreak.

Trail is open! Entrance is a bit hard to find. Look for the wooden staircase next to 1235 stanyan street. Very shady, lots of lovely lush greenery.

Lands End trail was so pure and beautiful, you get caught up on the view throughout this moderate hike, I know it can be hard during the worlds most difficult times always stay safe. Overall my body and mind felt at peace!

Extremely lush & beautiful, great for mountain biking or just a chill hike. The forest is completely separate from the outside world despite being near civilization and you really don't feel chilly or cold because of how INTERIOR it is compared to other hikes. Peaceful, full of the sound of many different types of birds, friendly people on the trail. Pretty much great at any time.

Good crowd. Beautiful view!

A lovely city hike with beautiful views

Parked at Kelly’s Cove Ocean Beach, Land Ends Trail/Coastal Trail and ended up at Bakers Beach! The trail is well maintained, stunning scenic views of the Ocean and Golden Gate Bridge. We also stopped by the Labyrinth and it was absolutely beautiful, peaceful in this area. I’d definitely hike this trail again!

Heavily trafficked. Pro: Baker beach was great to walk along. Con: Too many bikes in a narrow path near Golden Gate Bridge.

Amazing views of the bay and Golden Gate Bridge. Small detours down to the beach offer nice place to watch the waves. There were cool mussels and starfish to explore down on Lands End beach. Lots of people today, and many dogs too. Overall great experience!

Beautiful and super easy. Always a Good idea to come see The view of the bridge and the amazing cypress trees.

Very easy and mostly flat meandering trail around the dog park and pine lake. I found it pleasant and relaxing by the lake and amongst the trees. Some flowering plants along the way as well. Most dog owners today didn’t pay attention to leashing their dogs on trail, so be mindful of this if you have small children, your own dog is in training, or you have a fear of dogs.

Such a beautiful, fun trail! We had a blast. Amazing views. Uphill climbs get a little intense for people not used to biking regularly and definitely not used to hills. We had a great day!

This is a beautiful beautiful hike!! I just wish that people would keep their dogs "on leash" like it says!!

Easy walk uphill especially if you are used to SF hills. Clean, well paved. I wanted to hike up to the top of the hill, which isn’t part of the trail. However, gorgeous red granite steps lead up up. I stopped when I noticed trash and full bags of unopened chips, wondering if someone has set up a home base up further. It’s managed by the SF Park and Rec and will let them know too. Otherwise, a hill with little foot traffic and gorgeous views of South Bay and the skyline. I went in early March 2020 in the morning, with few insects and pollen starting it’s yearly journey. Don’t forget to see Indian Head Rock!

Easy well-paved trail. About a mile from public transit. Lots of shoreline birds and park tables for get togethers. I visited on a Sunday and even with a few parties in the distance, it didn’t impact my enjoyment of the bike or photography. Surprised by finding a fishing pier at the point and several restrooms along the way. I’m coming back to this area to a few other trails near it. My favorite photograph is of an Anna’s Hummingbird atop dry dill
