There is so much to see and it is fairly easy for everyone to do! The cave is definitely something you can’t miss!

Easy trail for the whole family

very pleasant and easy walk! very distracted by all the cute dogs. Don't come here if you want a challenging walk/hike.

One of our happy places, especially the leash free beach for the pups.

Good walk by the shore. Can take nice pictures with Golden gate on the back drop.

Even though it’s not too long, you can take little paths here and there which have stairs and makes it a fun workout. The weather was beautiful and a lot of different points of the trail felt private like you were alone exploring fun tunnels and caves.

Sweet walk with the dogs any day of the week

Not hike or really a trail but living here for 10 years still one of my favorite sweet spots and we enjoyed hangout by with the butterflies in Conservatory after it was closed so long. Beautiful winter weather ❤️

We got to hike the trail at sunset and got some amazing pictures. The view was worth every step!

Love walking here with hubby! There’s some elevation and stairs but very doable, even with someone like me who had a total hip replacement and knee surgery. Great view of the Golden Gate Bridge!

Easily one of the first places I recommend a visit too. Sunsets are fantastic here. Combine with the mosaic tiles stair case to get the most out of this location.

Golden Gate Park is a great urban resource for hikers/bikers/joggers. The trail is flat nearly the entire way. Ignore an earlier review that said the park is on a hill. Golden Gate Park is most definitely NOT on a a hill. The western end of the park is nearly at sea level and the elevation change from end to end is only 262 ft. The park consists of approximately 1000 acres and is about 3 miles in length and a bit over 1/2 mile in width. The area was originally sand dues and was master planned and then planted into an arboretum type of setting. Easy and enjoyable urban hike.
