Went with with family and toddler and it really made him tired :p. My mom and dad really liked this trail as it was not far from the city and provided greenery views.

We went there today and loop was closed from top so had to come back the way we came.

Absolutely beautiful to see the fog lift slowly but surely off of the Golden Gate! Easy hike, and very dog friendly. Loved it!

I remember hiking here 40 years ago ... only tiny dirt trails. How time changes. Beautiful nevertheless

Have done this a couple of times. Awesome trail, even in the fog when you can't see the bridge. Great views, cool terrain, varying elevations. We parked next to the golf course and also near the Sutro baths and Cliff House. Pines, eucalyptus, other interesting trees, smooth path, nice places to contemplate.

Beautiful park, but obviously very busy when the weather's nice.

Nothing special, but can be easily combined with the Golden Gate Park loop.

Stunning views of the Golden Gate! Walked from the Sutro Baths to the view point at the other side of Land's End, then carried on via Camino Del Mar to the trailhead of the Golden Gate Bridge trail from Baker Beach. Quite the hike if you combine the two!

Great hiking trail with beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge!

Awesome and conveniently accessible! Ample parking at Sutro Baths. It’s always busy but wait around for 10 min and a spot always clears up. The path is mostly soil and some rocks, especially up and down the cliff side to the beach. Super easy hike if you stay up top, moderately challenging stairs if you go down to the beach. Full of scenic views, dogs, and families. Make sure to explore Sutro Baths as well!

There’s a cool cross at the top in remembrance of he Armenian genocide and some nice views of the City (but not the Golden Gate Bridge), Twin Peaks Tower, all of East Bay, part of the Pacific and down to the south end of the Bay. It was an easy hike over soil and scattered rocks if you take the trail, but you can take a wide variety of offshoot trails to the top, some steeper but doable. It can take anywhere from 10 min to and from the top at a brisk pace to 40 min at a stroll, but what really makes this hike awesome are the views of the skyline and the lush forest you walk through on the longer loop. It’s dog friendly!

I am not into distance running, yet I am way into running elevation/short bursts/steps and I can say that the two sets of steps here, which provide access to Marshall's Beach and Baker Beach, are both excellent for training. Whether you want it slow and low (aerobic) or hard and disgusting (anaerobic) you can make that happen here.

beautiful easy trail!!

One of my favorite trails in the city and a major reason why I love living here. The views are stunning. Well worth the effort.

Really neat for a hike in the city, you don't feel like these gorgeous views can be so close to the metropolitan area. We were able to park right at the bottom of the trail on a weekday, but it was still quite busy. Wonderful if you don't mind passing tons of people on your nature walks, but we did pass tons of people. It's rated moderate because there are stairs. Look for smaller trails going down to the beach below, you can get a better view of the gg bridge, but watch out for homeless that hang out there and harass people. Worth it, would do it again, not the quietest or most serene.
Bathrooms available at the visitor center, parking is free.

Feels like being in the middle of the forest with the exception of a few scattered houses at the end of the trail. Not much to see in the way of views or wildflowers, but there is beautiful greenery and the sound of birds singing.

The hike is fairly brief and I walked it at a quick pace. It is rocky at times, narrows, and is switchback in the beginning. Overall, it’s a fairly easy trail for a woodsy hike.

Warning, there were a lot of bugs on the trail. Expect to do a fair amount of swatting.

Beautiful and scenic trail! Add this one to your list if you haven’t already! :)

It's a good hiking, with some easy and some hard (moderate) parts and the most beautiful views!

Iconic. Legendary. A must see.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. Even after all these years I still love this little spot. Now I come with my son and he enjoys it as much as I do.

Very good work-out trail. You can get rather consistent incline all the way from Glen Canyon to the top of the twin peaks. The Glen Canyon portion is extremely pleasant now after the park renovation. Walking in the canyon, you forget that you are in the city, because you are surrounded by woods and don’t see paved roads/vehicles — that is one unique characteristic of Glen Canyon making it a better hike to me than other nearby hills such as Bernal height. Reaching the twin peaks is quite rewarding with The unobstructed view of downtown. The only unfavorable part on this trail is that you need to cross a big intersection with traffic light, and then cross back and forth on the vehicle road leading up to the twin peaks several times.

Amazing views, great hike. Take water, hat and a small snack.. lots of beautiful areas to take pictures. we got there at 8am was perfect not hot at all. Coming back for this one..

I had a very good time. Enjoyed the nature very relaxing and the best part is that I could take my dog.

Beautiful trails, all shared with hikers and joggers. Steep, technical patches of roots and rocks, very blind switch backs. Have good brakes!! Steady climb from the start

- Parking: I started and ended at Land's End Eagle Point. There's usually lots of spots along the road where I began.
- Views: beautiful!
- Traffic: there were a lot of people on a sunny Sunday afternoon. That, combined with the relatively narrow trails, made the walk slower than expected.
