This was a bucket list check off! Parking was closed everywhere (this we knew was the case), but we got there early enough to find parking on the road above fort point. It was very foggy at the time we started (again, we knew this was probably the case), but when it’s projected to be 104 where we live...yay fog! Hardly any pedestrians, but plenty of cyclists. Stay to your side of the walk/bikeway and all will be good. The bathrooms on the Marin side were open (thank God!). This is something we will definitely do again, but add in some extra miles to Baker Beach.

A little bit hard to be always on trail. Would not be a problem for hiking but for running yes.

Roads still closed so awesome for bikers! Beautiful views. It was not an easy level for a beginner though but still doable.

Hard to follow but quite nice and cool. And perfect place to walk on a hot day.

It was bit confusing following along the trails as many other trails and roads collided with it. The red navigation guidance was a bit off and hard to follow.

It’s probably true that the entire trail is not the best scenic part of the park. But still pretty much enjoy it.

Can feel quite crowded on a bicycle and running at times, but very convenient loop. If you look lakeside, you can ALMOST forget there’s a road next to you the entire time. If you’re seeking speed or a challenge, look elsewhere.

Lots to see here! Very relaxing ride, attracts all sorts. Would recommend to anyone.

Gateway to bigger and better trails, but a bucket list item not to be missed. Prepare for gusts, bike and foot traffic!

This was a great bike ride because although there were a few hills nearby on Teresita, it was a short distance to the beginning of Twin Peaks Boulevard which is currently closed to traffic, so is perfect for biking!!! Also, that road is not steep, but a gradual climb. And the views from the top are awesome!

some parts of the trail blocked off the cars. That is nice Some are not; sometimes you might have to walk with cars and bikes. Otherwise, very peaceful. Saw a coyote too!

A great walk for an afternoon under shelter in place. The park is 5 stars, the city portion nice.

Love this trail - take Lyon steps, check out lovers lane, inspiration point, spire outdoor sculpture, golden gate overlook. Take a detour Lincoln and McDowell to fort point national historic site to see the Golden Gate Bridge. Or detour to the place of fine arts. 10/10

Wonderful views of the unique city when the weather cooperates.

Nice walk along the bay.

Easy for the family. Currently all parking lots are closed. You have to find street parking 2hr max.

It’s a fine way to get some exercise. But, along a road the entire time. I like the length though.

Pretty lake in heart of city. All paved but most offers single track on side of trail. Fair amount adjacent to high velocity street.

Such a beautiful, fun trail! We had a blast. Amazing views. Uphill climbs get a little intense for people not used to biking regularly and definitely not used to hills. We had a great day!

Easy well-paved trail. About a mile from public transit. Lots of shoreline birds and park tables for get togethers. I visited on a Sunday and even with a few parties in the distance, it didn’t impact my enjoyment of the bike or photography. Surprised by finding a fishing pier at the point and several restrooms along the way. I’m coming back to this area to a few other trails near it. My favorite photograph is of an Anna’s Hummingbird atop dry dill

No shade on sunny days - lots of tourists - go behind the warts to be closer to the water but a bit run down there
