Beautiful hike a bit challenging with the flights of stairs, but not too difficult. Great views of the ocean and worth it to get a picture with the circle rocks.

Great trail! We started at the visitors center and hiked several of the trails. There is a lot to see here and a lot of awesome history, too. My Fitbit had us at just over 6 miles and 83 flights of stairs. The labyrinth is really cool, amazing ocean and bridge views, lots of interesting trees, and a ton of stairs! We loved it, we will definitely be back!

Absolute gorgeous views of the GG bridge, Mile Rock Beach was easy to get to (although stairs not recommended for those with knee issues).

My #1 favorite spot to hike with my dogs. They love it, and I love it! The views are gorgeous, the hike down to the beach and back is just strenuous enough to make you feel like you actually got a workout, and you can make the hike as long or as short as you want depending on how much beach walking / trail wandering you combine. Water is available for both humans and dogs on the trail.

This has always been one of the trails we go to regularly when we are in the Bay Area. Having lived in the Sacramento area for 11 years, it was one of our favorite. Being a moderate trail it's one that challenges us. I'd recommend this trail to anyone and being on the beach, the weather is great!

Gorgeous views and easy terrain but it's usually too crowded on weekends for trail running. Love the rock maze on the beach trail.

One of my favorite trails. Can’t get lost here and there are sections where you get to work your legs. The views are breathtaking and the weather is always perfect. Heavily trafficked.

A walk on the wild side of San Francisco. This can be an easy hike or a strenuous one, depending on which side trails you take. The stairs to Mile Rock Beach are quite steep and long, but well worth it. Although crawling with tourists, it’s a beautiful spot.

this is more of a dog park with a lot or almost all dogs off leash. very friendly but can be overwhelming to smaller dogs. The trails are fun and pretty easy to complete but the best part is the beach where you can find a whole bunch of sand dollars and shells.

A lovely, fairly gentle trail. Stunning views. A little muddy in places, and a fair few steps, but loved the hike.

Let's be honest, it really doesn't get any better than Lands End Trail. The entire trail and its surroundings are simply magnificent. Views include the Pacific Ocean and the Golden Gate Bridge. I agree with the Yelpers that have stated that pictures and reviews just doesn't do this place any justice. You must walk the trail yourself to experience what beauty and nature is all about. This trail isn't long or even difficult. According to alltrails.com, the entire loop is only 3.5 miles. About 2 miles of the trail is on the edge or where the land ends. But it's not too close and it's safe. The trail is wide, shaded, and for the most part, it's flat. There are some inclines and stairs that can be tough if you decide to make it a workout. Otherwise, I don't consider Lands End Trail tough. It's more like nature walk. I have read that a lot of people consider Lands End Trail as one of the best hikes in San Francisco. In my experience, Lands End Trail is the most beautiful trail that I have ever be on. There's so much to do, see, and explore on this trail. From the lush & gorgeous landscape to the beautiful Pacific Ocean, Lands End Trail is amazing.

What a beautiful park in such a big city. Tons of trails, so many overlooks, incredible all around. Also lots of natural and man-made stairs/steps around to really work your heart up!
