Not much foot traffic on Monday morning apart from a handful of friendly faces. Beautiful in late February.

The trail past Cowles is nicer and much less crowded, but the view from Cowles at the top and on the way down is very good, so both parts of this trail have something to offer. Mountain lilac blooming like anything right now.

Not really a waterfall. More like a creek.

Perfect mix of path and rocks! Kids and dog both enjoyed it!

Pretty mellow trail. Could not reach the listed start/finish so I started the loop on the Regents Rd./52 turn around. Trail is mostly small-medium rocks with only a couple small hills. Good for a casual trail run.

nice short walk for dog trail

Went up the northeast side and It is a nice uphill climb. going down the mountain we took a trail on the northwest side through the glider port launch area. I went up with Michelle and Koda.

Definitely wait a few days after a light rain to let the trails dry out. Wear some repellent and sunblock. Trail was very pitted in some areas due to horses and you could easily roll an ankle. Overall it was a nice walk (definitely not a hike) and good for all ages.
