Gorgeous buildings, fountains, and museums to see, keep walking along the sidewalks, under the eucalyptus and fig trees and see the trails in the mini-canyons that are fun to explore too. Walk along the bridge too, great view of the downtown area.

great when it isnt crowded!

Great easy walk!

It’s out and back at the moment. The dam is closed for repairs until October 11th 2018. Great place though!

Easy walk with the bob stroller. Plenty of places to stop and take in the view.

Nice view and almost flat with frequent breeze I would definitely love to go back

Nearly completely flat paved trail. Perfect for a recovery run. Gets crowded later in the am on the weekends.

A very relaxing hike. The 5 mile distance will give you a nice exercise.

not a hike, but a nice place to walk.

Super easy trail to either walk or bike. Pathways are plenty wide for most of the trail, but be courteous of walkers if you're biking. Likewise, don't hog the trail if you're in a group. Parking is usually plentiful, and there are a lot of place to have a meal afterwards nearby.

It’s a very pretty trail around the lake. It’s completely flat the entire route. It can be very busy on the weekends, so the earlier you start, the better

Paved trail running the length of Harbor Island. Made for a good walk/jog with my stroller. Only negative is that it parallels the road. But it's great to be so close to the water, and the views of the bay from downtown to Point Loma are spectacular.

Amazing ! It’s a must

Been coming here for years every time I visit San Diego. Nothing technical or hard at all. Just a walk in the park! Ha Ha! I parked near the street near the Fleet Science Center and did the whole perimeter of the park. In addition, I crossed the bridge and checked out the Western side of the park along sixth avenue including the Natural Gardens. It's cool you can climb the old tower inside the park now! I didn't do it this trip and it's expensive. I love visiting here!

I really enjoyed this walk it was peaceful and not a lot of road noise for the most part my two small children enjoyed it as well. There isn’t a whole lot for them to do because all along the trail are signs for rattle snakes beyond the trail so I did not allow them to go stomping into the brush. And it’s kind of annoying that they allow cars to drive on the path to get to a fishing spot on the other side of the lake. I’m not a huge fan of walking so close to moving vehicles with me two small children. Despite all that it is still a very nice 5 mile walk very peaceful.

It’s just walk not a hike

Standard loop. Not too exciting for me

Great to go on with kids. The parking lot is small and might have to wait for one to open. Also there are paddle boats and such for rent.
