I can't find any parking anywhere near the documented trail. Please help! There is no street parking near the start anymore due to private property signs and no street parking. I went the next exit down and there's still nothing close. I'm really disappointed because this is so close to my work.

It was pretty rocky and it was really hot. It was also a little slippery. I have the scrap on my legs to prove it. But in fairness, I was running down the trail a little out of control. In summary, it was fantastic. Sincerely, E.R.R

Great beginners biking trail. I went off roading in the back with the huge hills which was fun.

on Balboa Park Loop

One of my favorite loops in 92104, the map doesn't show it quite right. Not sure why other reviews mention history or strolling, as this loop has neither. Its basically a narrow dirt canyon path the loops around the golf course and Morely Field.

Great trail for hikers and bikers! Green from beginning to end. I truly enjoy this trail at least 3 times a week!

Don’t even attempt this route. It’s mostly on the the side of roads with like no space(not really too safe).

Easy walk, and the trails on the north side were neat

Walk along the sidewalk with views of the bay. Little shade on the walk , although frequent benches with shade. Interesting Pearl of the Pacific Park at the middle of the walk (end of the Shelter Island). We did this in September semi early Sunday morning but the sun was out and was already hot .

Definitely not a trail suited for strollers. The nature trails are cool looking but if you are bringing kids be prepared to carry them

it's not really a hike. more like a walk without any wow moments. end of the trail leads you to nothing. no shade, bring some water with you.

Short, easy trail with nice views and a couple of historical points of interest along the way, as well as a few benches trail-side.

Lovely walk anytime! I enjoy walking from my hotel nearby, usually stop to get a coffee to go, and take my time walking the full loop and back to my hotel. Always fun to watch incoming watercraft.

This trail is gorgeous! It is a little confusing at the north side of trail... You have to go under a bridge (I noticed taking the road instead of trail was the route I needed to take on the way back). I believe the trail ends here but the bike paths don’t. You can take a pedestrian bridge over to another town and ride along the water and grab a bite to eat. Great ride!
