Relaxing walk with fun amenities, like a giant slide.

Very easy trail, good if you just want something quick. Gives nice views of the bay at certain points. Not heavily trafficked, but quite loud because of the airport & 280 freeway nearby. Has a really lovely field of wildflowers that bloom in spring.

very fun and beautiful hike

Pretty good easy beginner trail. You can hear I-280 from most points in this park but other than that it's a quickly easy hike.

This place is fantastic. We got a little bit of rain and fog. The beginning is a little strenuous, but once you're up there it's a lot easier. We missed the views but the look and feel of the forest is a great reward. I have to do it on the spring again. Thomas was our volunteer docent, he's an amazing guy. Don't miss this place, it's a jewel. I'll upload some photos.

Good trail to get a brief nature fix while staying at a local hotel. I entered through the park by the veterans recreation building, past a picnic area then found the trailhead. Many Spurs and choices. I went to the top for the view of the airplanes taking off and landing. A lot of traffic notice and airplane notice so not complete nature but I got my fix for the day,

There are some nice short trails up here next to picnic areas (benches, grills, water fountains, bathrooms) and playgrounds - I saw two with playground equipment even! A popular spot for birthday parties. Extremely convenient for small children. My toddler had no problem on a few of the trails that overlook the airport. You can't hear the airport really, but you can hear cars on 280 (in most places, not all). It's not terrible though you will easily ignore it.
