like stated before, there are some homeless people that call the creek home. The trail is clean, you will sometimes see trash. I saw 3 deer in the creek today, and there are plenty of wild turkeys, and wildlife. Parts are under construction, some short uphills and downhills but generally a flat trail depending on if you take some of the side trails.

Certain areas aren’t bad others have a few homeless camps near where the trail is closed.

I would suggest sticking to the Sierra College side of this trail. My husband and I had already hiked that section, so we decided to start from the other end this time (near downtown Roseville). What I’m sure was a nice area at one point, is now littered with garbage and numerous homeless tents. Felt a little unsafe walking there, certainly wouldn’t do this trail by myself.

Love our community trail. We use it for our evening walks and when I was running we'd run the dirt and pavement trails.

Nice trail to take. You can walk/jog on the sidewalk path or on the many dirt trails. nice and peaceful.

Trail was paved and well maintained. Nice urban trail that winds through the spacious open land between homes. East of the freeway though you’ll see some homeless people and tents ‘hidden’ under some trees. Otherwise very nice! Bout 2.5 hours r/t to walk at good pace.

The beginning of the trail is closed. While some kind construction workers let me cross their work space once i was already in it, don't make my mistake :). Nice mellow trail (not hike) that will be better when it's green out.

love this trail. At times I feel like I am in a big forest.

The trail seemed nice but only .4 miles in it was closed and could not go further. You may want to confirm somehow that the trail is open if planning on using.

Didn’t get to finish the trail due to lack of time but from what I saw it is quiet and peaceful. Got to the bridge by the golf course and enjoyed the creek under the bridge. I would do this again. :)

Nicely paved. secluded in certain areas. great for running or biking.

Good easy walk. Nice scenery.

Great and simple trail! I went with a friend, her baby that she carried in a bjorn on her back, her two young daughters that rode their bikes, and Dakota the Dog :-) There is ample parking and it is free. There is a great playground for kids near the parking lot and a very large empty grassy field for dogs to run around on or kids to play soccer. The trail itself is all pavement, but there is a dirt trail that runs parallel with the pavement. The dirt trail is also close to the cool running creek. Everyone on the trail was nice. Dogs all had leashes. I will definitely do this trail again. Great for a running trail!

Nice paved path for walking biking and jogging.

This was mostly a paved walking path. There are multiple trails gravel trails that connect at different points through out the walk. If you like walking paths then this is great! You walk by a ravine at certain points and shaded parts.

Love this trail for a nice walk. It’s connect to so many trails throughout Roseville, lots of options for which direction to go. I would say it’s a stretch to call this a “hike” because it’s in town and paved, but there is still plenty of nature to enjoy.

Great place to walk. Add some leg work by walking up some of the hills towards the housing or go off paved trail and feel more away from the city.

Beautiful trail with a creek running along side and benches to sit and relax.

I jogged this trail today while visiting from SoCal. It is beautiful. If I lived here, I would be on this trail everyday. It was safe and clean. I will definitely use this trail again.

First trail ride since being in California. Took my 9 year old and she had a blast. Concrete trail is almost entirely flat and great for families. Dirt trails are mellow and pretty narrow at times with high grass. Overall good simple and short ride. Will be back.

Really good

This was an awesome trail, first one I've tried using this app and Im so glad! There was so much to see I probably took 100 pictures that all look the same but I couldn't help it! Walking by the water was not even much more difficult than the paved path, but both offered really great views. Loved the river, different trees and plants and of course all of the wild flowers! I would definitely recommend this trail to anyone of any level of hiking experience, but there were plenty of dogs off leash so be careful bringing your dog if that would be a problem.

Not a bad hike on a nice day. Parking was an unexpected con.. ended up finding it accidentally in the shopping center next to the "Cosmos" sculpture. Noise from 80 was a little distracting but my kids loved running around. The paved trail was an easy walk.

Excellent and clean trail. Perfect for families. In the middle of Roseville but feels like you’re in nature.

A beautiful trail. It was very hard finding parking as I didn't want to park in the suburbs. So I went to the other end of the trail at Veteran Memorial Park and parked there. I saw a huge variety of colorful birds, squirrels, and even a coyote! I walked on the dirt trail so the walk was very idyllic and quiet. It felt like I was the only person in the world. Then I walked on the paved trail on my way back to the car and it wasn't as quiet. But overall, I enjoyed myself very much. Very stunning. Will definitely come back again.
