Rohnert Park, California Map

easy walking if not in the rainy season, kind of boring with not much to see, the local homeless like to hang out on this trail.

the trail is beautiful, there's actually other trails that connect to this trail and creates a longer loop. I hiked here with my dog on 07/14/18 and I ended up finding 3 ticks crawling on me but luckily none of them actually attached to me. My dog on the other hand, had 2 ticks attached to her, so I would be very careful. The trail also has moderate traffic and not lightly trafficked like the description says. Other than that, the trail was beautiful and scenic! If you're in the Santa Rosa area, I definitely recommend it!

As a leisurely walk across town this is fine. But as a hike or sight seeing it’s not anything special

This trail is beautiful but can sometimes be littered with trash, especially on weekends after teenagers and rowdy-doos come through. Love the willows and eucalyptus. Leads to the butterfly garden at Sonoma State. So nice after a good rain when the water really gets going.

This park was better before the cows. It’s soggy, torn up and you have to watch for frisbees. New electric fence is quite the eyesore.

Great little easy hike with my 2 and 5 year old. They loved it and never complained.

Follow the signage. Pretty hike but not crystal clear! Some pretty wine country footage for good photos. Great place for a dog walk!

Short and sweet. Not too crowded.

easy not moderate, also way too many homeless, went walking here with my wife and felt nervous about continuing. also it is just a sidewalk with stagnant water next to it.

$7 for parking, I wish I could afford to do this, but I would not have to eat for 2 days.

Easy walk. Great way to get across town.

It's exactly how it's described. I hiked the trail in flip flops with no problem. Great scenery!

Great easy hike to get you out of the house. Pretty creek views, can be crowded, and not difficult or long enough to be used for conditioning, but still worthwhile for a quick nature fix.

My 4 year old and I participated in the "story walk" hosted by the parks and library, they have placards along the trail with a page of the story so you read the book while you walk. It was a fun experience!

The trail itself was nice, although we prefer moor wooded areas. We were there in mid march and there is a nice creek, one part is tricky to cross without getting wet... the trail is a great starting point for hiking/ walking and it offers beautiful views of vineyards.

I went on this trail during the Sonoma County Trails Challenge, and, although lovely, it freaked me out. It was not maintained very well, so the grasses were at eye level, and touching us throughout almost the entire hike. We walked through for a long time with grasses brushing against us before finally noticing the hundreds of ticks waiting at the tips of these grasses, blatantly, hauntingly. Once we saw them, hundreds of them, on almost every blade of grass reaching toward us, it felt like a horror film. We were trapped, and the only way to get through it was to continue being brushed by tick-infested grasses. I read that it is wheelchair accessible, but that is the last thing anyone in a wheelchair needs. Normally I'm not so paranoid on hikes, but this was a pretty intense experience. Lovely, though.

Great trail walk if you don't have a tun of time!

I have a lot to say about this park. But I keep it short. It sucked. The trails are not taken care of, the Rangers don't even try to block off trails that people who don't know to stay on trails make, the signs aren't good, no t.p. In the bathrooms and to top it all off there were no maps provided at the beginning of the trail

I will say if those things were fixed this is a fantastic park to bring a stroller.

I can't really rate it as I didn't even start. I pulled in and saw the $7.00 parking fee and drove back out. There is no off street parking that I saw. I don't want to pay $7.00 to walk two miles. :-)

I live near this copeland creek trail. It's nice although there are many homeless people along the trail and creek bed.
Also, I've been seeing gang graffiti spray painted in random areas of this trail. It makes me nervous as I have little ones. Just make sure you get back to your original starting point before the sun starts setting.

I love Crane Creek! I often choose to get a quick hike in here, as it's less than a 5 min drive from home. I have never had an issue with parking. I arrive early in the day, usually to beat the heat.

Crane Creek is a lovely oasis outside of Rohnert Park. Or, it was. There is a frisbee golf course that has essentially taken over the park, which means that one is always in danger of having one's head taken off by a flying disc. If one can even find a place to park in the small lot. Oh well.
