short hike following the Gage canal. it was ok, I honestly think hiking the whole gage canal would be more interesting.

love this place, so does my kids and dogs

A beautiful place to come with the children. They can lead the way and discover the beauty while respecting nature. Just be sure to bring $2 for the parking!

First time and it was amazing...

Great views on hot summer nights. I have plantar fasciitis so it killed my heels but there’s plenty of spots at the top to rest. Best to go around 7 or 8pm

You can still access this trail.

TRAILHEAD: To find it, go to the Starbucks by Glen Mor. Walk down the street (Box Springs Rd.) toward the mountain. In a few minutes, you'll see a sign that says "No C Trail Access," so keep going straight. Then you'll see a second sign like this, and there's some wood on the ground to help you cross over from the street onto a path. This is a few houses down before a green fence. Cross the wood and walk down the trail. It will lead you to a brown fence. Scoot across the gap under the fence (you'll fit). Go up a little and you'll now be facing some train tracks. If you turn left and walk a few feet, you'll clearly see the start of the trail. If you had turned right, you'd see two "No Trespassing" signs close to each other, so you'd know you're not going in the ideal direction. If you follow the main dirt trails, it will lead you right to the C.

TIPS: It took me 2 hours to complete the trail from start to finish, but I took my time. I recommend taking at least 2 liters of water, especially if you go when the sun is out. Watch out when crossing the train tracks, so you don't die. Expect to see graffiti on rocks throughout the trail, but the C didn't have much writing on it to my surprise. As for difficulty, I'd say it's moderate--not a piece of cake, but also not so hard that I considered quitting.

If this helped you, thank me by picking up one piece of trash when you hike. Enjoy!

Easy, beginner trail. Family friendly.

Took a group of senior citizens up to Cross and back. It took 90 minutes. When I go with my fit friends, it takes 30 minutes. Great conditioning hike!

Super easy and AWESOME 360 view!!! Beautiful sunset too!!! There was lots of people up there but it was suck a pretty view. And although you can get up to the top the long paved path around the mountain you can also climb straight up the side which is a little more steep.

Great scenic view once you get to the top. a great hidden gem of a hike.

Fantastic views and great hike. Very popular trail with lots of people with dogs and baby strollers.

Easy hike with beautiful flowers. There is a pond with turtles, added bonus.

Super easy . Very crowded. Still very fun to do:)

Very highly trafficked, I would reccomend going in the early afternoon. The trail is paved and pretty easy, but lots of people hike off the trail and climb the rocks. I would not recommend this to novice hikers. Absolutely gorgeous views, especially during the golden hour.

Very interesting to find different routes for hiking. Yes at the side of the riverbottom there's a trail there. But the disgusting part, wherever trail you go, there are lots of animal poop that owners don't care about it.

Great little hike! Lots of bikes on this trail!

Mostly paved bike route good for cardio. Don’t recommend at all. Tried to walk down to the riverbed a lot of homeless camps throughout the riverbed. I didn’t feel safe or comfortable will not do again.

Good trail..some incline. Nice views easy enough for kids. No bathrooms on the trail only at the park.

Easy beginner trail. (In my opinion) be careful there are rattle snakes. Even better of a hike during the evening! :)

Nice trail. It has great views. I will definitely visit it again!!!!

Such an amazing trail!! Loved the views!!

Super easy, all paved. Benches along the trail. Walked with 6 & 7 year olds & no issues.

Easy trails with a great views. Beautiful Spring flowers.

Still has beautiful wild flowers!
