One of my favorite hikes in the Bay. It has it all, climbs, scenery, two parks, views for days, turkeys, turtles, cows, hawks, a lake...you get it. Go early on a hot day, bring water, layer and be prepared to take lots of pictures.

This is a beautiful hike with thigh burning climbs that bring you to hands-down, the best panoramic views in the Bay Area. Bring water because there is limited shade and layers because the wind can be gusty at the top.

Great trail with beautiful views of the cities!

Dramatic views; and some good, steep, little inclines. Made it without too many skids, even tho it was pretty dry. Tho I have to say, paved Wildcat Creek Trail is an anti-climactic ending. An otherwise great hike.

beautiful . many very large stingrays fully visible near the marina

It was a great hike! Like the previous comment said- go clockwise so you’ll hit the hardest part first. The views and breeze were amazing!

Visited Point Isabel on NYD. Great morning walk with my dogs.

Awesome views with Panoramic look into the bay.

Super fun to see all the dogos.

Beautiful views

Beautiful views, lots of shorebirds.

Can’t wait to hike this again. Dogs ok and most of trail is off leash.

nice full moon hike

Flat and esy.... Did it with my wife.

Lots of hills and amazing views!

This is my pups favorite spot! There's tons of other dogs there all the time so it's really great for socialization. They provide dog waste bags and have ample trash cans as well.

We completed a nearly identical 7 mile loop from the main staging area for this preserve - Alvarado Area in Richmond. The loop comprised of Wildcat Creek Trail -> Havey Canyon Trail -> Nimitz Way -> San Pablo Ridge Trail -> Belgum Trail -> Wildcat Creek Trail. A moderately difficult hike with 1200 feet elev gain.

Bring water, and avoid going on a really hot day! For much of the hike, you're exposed to the sun on top of the hills with no shade. If you pick the right day - it's perfect. Go clockwise and start with the difficult part, leaving the mostly flat and shady area for last!

this trail as defined is NOT in its totality 'dog friendly' the trail crosses 'tilden nature area' where dogs are not allowed. A small modification and you skip that nature area which bring you in top of the hill with astonishing views. totally worthy!
