Many options of trails with beautiful views.

There are so many different ways to go. I definitely need to come back and explore further. :) Cool trail, though I would have rated it as hard instead of moderate. There is a steep uphill and flight of stairs if you find rattlesnake trail, totally off of the main trail. :) Coming back soon with more water. :)

Overall pretty hike- but two of the trails on this particular route are closed. If you truly follow it - you make your way through area of very loose soil on the RIM trail and the second closure is close to the cliffs/ water. That piece of the trail is completely blocked and no one can enter. All elevation is at the end (as the information shows).

RPV has limited parking here, so weekends are tough. Lots of people on the weekend. There was another review that said the heard Mountain Lions: we don't have them here, but there are coyotes.

holy crap the uphill parts! great views though and a lot of side trails to explore if your into that. Make sure to bring plenty of water though lots of sand and little shade on some stretches. Part of the trail is marked off as private property someone should probably update the route. Once you get to the bottom take a different route up and you should be fine there are plenty of trail maps out there. Everything is pretty well marked there so it should be no trouble getting around.

I did this walk yesterday. Absolutely beautiful! Don't fall for the disgusting portapotties at the beginning of the trail. There are several real restrooms along the trail. Plenty of parking. not much shade, so wear your sunblock.

Beautiful place to walk/hike along the ocean! You turn on Trump Nat’l Drive into golf course then hang a left, there’s free parking/no time limit but the lot isn’t huge. There are picnic tables off the greens to chill. You can do the main easy trail (some parts paved) with ocean views or hike one-off steeper trails to the beaches. I hadn’t hiked in years and I was fine with all. Says “No Animals” on beaches (probably just for safety, it’s all rocks) so use your judgement :) I will be going back!

Good challenge hike. Nice views with cool ocean breezes.

I really liked it here so pretty a lot of friendly people. Several trails including a long set of stairs if you want to up your game. Very close to the beach. Downside, parking is tough as the park is in s residential area. And all the trail maps do not show all trails so you can get confused on which trail you are on.

I came on a Saturday and yes, parking gets full easily but I was lucky enough to find parking at around 11am. The trail wasn’t packed at all! I guess it depends at what time you come. There were a few steep hills but nothing that can’t be handled. I would come again!

nothing like starting on top of Crenshaw Blvd and ending up in the water haha. first time doing this trail but definitely doing it again.

Nice short walk, great for kids.

Easy walk, family friendly. Beautiful scenery.

Nice and easy going down.. You get a burst of cardio coming back up! Many trails to choose from in this little area.
We hiked this trail at night, heard mountain lions screaming and a dog yelping.. then it went silent. Keep your eyes open.

It does not make a loop it's strictly going down hill and then coming back up. Definitely a good work out! There are a lot of little trails around the main trail.

It was a bit confusing trying to find where to begin the hike but just walk through the golf course and signs will lead you to the trail. Keep going along the rocks and the trail will continue. I ended up just going along the beach (rocky and sandy) bring sunscreen, a camelback, a sheet to lay on the beach if you want to take a break and enjoy the scenery. Loved it because there was not a lot of people at all and I came on a Sunday afternoon.

Lovely hike.

Parking cost $6

Nice view of the ocean from parts of this trail, but the majority of this hike is on a wide, dirt road. This would have been more pleasant on a cooler day or earlier in the day, at only 78 degrees+ it was brutal. Some shade, benches or a water fountain on the trail (like at Runyon Canyon) would be nice for these hot days.

Nice trail, beautiful views.

Extremely peaceful hike. You can go a little further and challenge yourself hiking down to pelican cove.

Beautiful trail! There’s tons of variation to go through in the preserve too. Just be prepared for lots of incline. The whole area’s on a slope so its a lot of going up and downhill.

Great with little ones. No steep hills. Very minimal inclines. Plenty of spots to stop and view the ocean and have a snack.
At the end there’s a rock beach that’s fun for exploring.
Also clean bathrooms and picnic tables towards the end.

Absolutely love hiking here. Last year it was too foggy to see much though. This year we could not only see the hillside but also the sand and surf below. Very beautiful!
Only caveat is that there are several trails. You have to pick one and pay attention to the signs or your app or else you may end up doing a much more longer or more difficult hike than planned!!
