Beautiful views and some decent climbs. I Highly recommend it :)

Beautiful views

Great trail, beautiful area. I prefer doing the trips down to the beach on the way in (get them done). On a hotter day this is a great trail to do, great ocean breezes. Unfortunately I accidentally turned my recorder off for 23 minutes so didn't record over a mile of my hike, bummer, at least my fitbit was recording.

Great place gorgeous views

The views are incredible. The Paintbrush Trail was closed at some parts. I just went for it, but it became clear the reason was the cliff it walks below is super unstable with tons of erosion, so I would recommend taking an alternate route I’m definitely never going on the closed trail again.

memorys of childhood all over this place my father who always brought us here even spend the night once super cold but amazing experience glad I had the opportunity to leave my mark and footprints all over this beautiful beach♡ and gorgeous sunsets for in love with this place and thankful to my father who made it happen

Very nice scenic trail with options for the whole family. We saw several dolphins near the shore along with rabbits lizards and birds. Easy to medium level trail great for sunrises or sunsets

Easy trek. Really good for kids that you want to get them into the idea of hiking. Not steep at all. Just wish dogs were allowed at the destination (rocky Beach with cave). Otherwise definitely fun!

The hike itself is short, but you can continue on the beach. Getting to the beach requires a sturdy foot. The trail down, at least the one I used, was steep. Their are rocks at the very top of the beach to walk over. The beach was great. All the sand when I went was wet, making it easy (and fun) to walk on. It’s all very beautiful. There is no shade.

Ended up being an 8 mike hike. Super pretty views!

Life's a Beach!

beautiful hike overlooking coast and tide pools, was disappointed to see that all the pathways down to the coast said "no animals" I was . looking forward to walking my dog on the beach, maybe next time I'll just do it because it was empty. aside from that we enjoyed a much shorter hike along the 2 to 3 miles that we could take our dog.

Beautiful trails, going down to the beach and back up gives you a good workout, and there are several different places to do this at. I really like that there is a good dirt path next to the paved.

It’s a great walking trail. If you’re looking for hiking trails, you may be disappointed, but if you’re thinking of a great walking trail for all age, families and dogs, this is the perfect place! We walked our dog along the trail and really enjoyed the scenery. The wildflowers, the ocean, and the birds are the best company alongside the trail. Moreover, the natural center (the Point Vicente Interpretive Center) has the whale watching event right next to the trail. We spotted about three whales when we were here! That’s such a surprise for the day since we didn’t expect to see whales at all! I see this trail doesn’t have lots of reviews on AllTrails, and I’d like to highlight it since we really had a very delightful and pleasant experience there.

Super Duper easy but the hike at Sunset is amazingly gorgeous!!!!

view was great, plenty of splinter trails, good workout on the way up. :)

A couple trails were closed but still had a blast!

Dog-Owners! The main trail here is mostly fine, but some of the side loops off the main trail have cactus lining pretty narrow pathways. Some of the cactus overflows. Mostly observed on the adjacent loops heading up and east, not the side loops heading west to the water.

Side note - Dear Admin, If this trail is owned and run by the Palos Verde conservatory, can we change the name on here? Thank you!

The hike was somewhat short but we continued on to a separate trail to make it longer. We took our two year old and he really enjoyed the beach portion of the trail. Downside to this spot is that there is very little shade, but the view is beautiful.

Perfect workout

Not really impressed by the views. Took paintbrush trail which is closed right now, but it wasn't bad. For the amount of time it took us to drive here it was really just "ehh". Coming back up was a nice workout though. Probably won't be doing this one again for a while.

Very nice and easy walking alone the costal trail. You can also get to see some nice houses on the side. You can walk the dog with leash on. Watch a beautiful sunset on a lovely Saturday afternoon:) easy parking. Sometimes you get to see rabbits. Fun!

BEAUTIFUL little hike. I think parking fees were waived that day. Walked for a bit, took a seat off of the trail near a trail down to the beach & had a little snack, then headed down to the rocky beach. It was a little rough on my feet, walking on those rocks, but it was totally worth it. I'll wear different shoes next time.
