It says no dogs but some brought their dogs.... anyone know if they are allowed?

Took me and my 40-something boyfriend three hours to hike in and out. We did have a half hour picnic before we headed back.

Super easy drive up to the trailhead.

Didn’t need a parking pass. Guessing parking fills up fast. We went on a weekday, afternoon while school was still in session and there were many people on the trail.

Verizon service went in and out. I didn’t have any service at the end of the trial.

Recommend shoes with ankle support because there are a lot of rocks and trail angles that it would be easy to roll an ankle on.

There is A LOT of graffiti along the tail. It’s disappointing and distracts heavily when you come up to the creek. I also cleaned up a normal size shopping bag of trail garbage on my way out.

This trail qualifies as ‘Easy’ on the app but the 800+ ft elevation gain is work and grueling in the hot sun.

Great creek at the end of the trail. Make time to creek walk further up.

Done this twice with friends. Would possibly say this is harder than easy if you go to the top of waterfall.

I don't get it are dogs allowed or not some posts say the dogs love it then the next post say no dogs allowed...help

pretty cool little trail. A lot of nature to look around and see. Good little 45 minute hike.

The trail is rockey and I wouldn’t rate it as easy but, the waterfall is cool. IMO it’s a good workout not too hard but, not easy.

Amazing hike!!! I carried my 40lb toddler in my arms all the way up the mountain and to the river creek and then down..about 6 miles total. It was quite the workout but the view was simply amazing!!! Started our hike at 6:30am and finished by 10am

Great hike. Favorite place to hike when I have the time. No shade the whole way up, but flowing cool water and shade at the top of the trail. At the top to the left is a another waterfall that can be climbed where the trail continues. Continue ahead and the trail takes up higher with plenty of shade to keep you warm. Definately bring bug spray in the warmer months. I haven't been, but someone told me there's a lake 2 mile further up one of the trails. Bring plenty of water cuz the uphill climb is a really good workout. Parking is an issue. DO NOT PARK OUTSIDE OF THE GATE!!! Your car will get towed. Other than that... I highly recommend.

Nice trail for a family hike!

Great hike! Wife and I came for anniversary hike and loved it. The water fall creek made it totally worth it! Easy hike

Easy trail to follow. Very rocky and unstable.

I love this spot. I called into the ranger station and they said you can park there with a national forest adventure pass.

Great trail! Today was perfect with the overcast and the dogs even enjoyed themselves. ☺️

I met the coolest people on this hike!

Just like the old days, parking was hard today (Sunday) we got there around 11am so it would be warmer, get earlier if you can fit parking, do not park outside of the lot because cops were writing tickets today.

BOO!! It's Monday morning 8am and the gate is closed!! B.S.

Very beautiful scenery! I went on a side trail that took me right to the path for the falls. The path straight up to the falls was kind of difficult due to big rocks along the trail. I suggest getting hiking boots; I slipped a few times. Might also be a bit harder for those that don't hike often but it's manageable. Will definitely be returning in the near future.

yes. stay away. no public anything, no roads, lol

Very rocky. Not dirty. Waterfall area crowded. For what should be an easy trail it’s quite rocky.

Big parking lot. 95% of the hike to the falls is uphill. Very little shade. Waterfall area is pretty. Wear good shoes because it is a very rocky path.

Looks easy but a nice workout. Lovely views. Went on a weekday and had minimal foot traffic. Very rocky

Great hike! Falls at the end was beautiful! Listen to signs telling you were NOT TO PARK! As I was leaving, police came and were issuing parking tickets.

good safe parking area. easy wide trail (really rocky... and bring a hat, no shade untill the end). great area at the end to enjoy in the river. my whole family loved it.

I enjoyed hiking this trail, it wasn't difficult at all and the falls were nice to see and hangout with for a while.

This is a good trail, I don't understand what the other reviewers were talking about the trail is open from 630am to 630pm you are not allowed to park on the steeet leading to the parking lot. When you finally get to the opening at the top, there are two additional trails. One to the right across the creek and one to left where you follow it. I took my 5, 7, and 10 year olds, it was a great family hike.

We arrived at 12:30 on a Friday and there was plenty of parking. Signs weren’t that clear but we took the trail to the left and hiked up. We are just getting back into hiking and are out of shape...I don’t know about you guys but we were out of breath! Lots of up hill rocky areas. I didn’t see anywhere in other reviews that it was steep..and it is! We finally found the waterfalls at the very top and it was beautiful. There was a ton of graffiti which was very depressing, minimal trash and a fair amount of people up at the top. I would definitely do this hike again...just wear good shoes people!!
