One of my favorite trails with the kids. It's not really a hike, more of a walk. It can get very muddy after a rain, but we like to play in the puddles, and just bring extra clothes. The paths do have deep ruts, but they don't bother us, although we occasionally ride bikes and they could be a problem if someone has training wheels. Overall, it's a fabulous little-known trail.

Terrain-wise quite easy. It’s not simply a “1.8mi loop” as described... it’s a large network of paths that go all over the place. I did more or less a loop this time out and it added up to 3 miles.

There’s definitely potential for rattlesnakes during the right times of the year. I agree with another reviewer that it seems to lean towards equestrian more than human travel, but it’s a good walk nonetheless and there are areas blocked off to equestrian travel, so it’s obviously not intended to be equestrian-only.

The Nisenan grinding stones were a welcome surprise.

I plan to come back a few times to explore more paths and also check out the wildlife during different times of the year.

Not my favorite hike. Trails are pretty deep ruts. The park is honey combed with them. Seemed to be more of an equestrian area than a hiking area. There are two entrances, each with its own parking area. one off of Humphrey and one off of Delmar.

Lots of sun midday. Very easy. Watch out for rattlesnakes.

Google maps has the proper entrance address. Great walk! Very sunny; little tree coverage. No fee.

Great Little trail , saw cows on the right hand side of trail, it's really easy to drive by and pass the trail entrance look to your right and you will see it.
