This is a terrible running route and should be called Rolling Hills Horse Poop. The first mile had me fooled because it’s gorgeous with a nice soft trail and lots of shade. At mile 1.5 you realize this route is totally Frankensteined together with some trail, lots of road, private property, and a lot of narrow horse poop littered trail. Literally the entire last half mile is 6” deep horse shit because you’re running along a stable fence line and the people who live there are just dumping horse poop over the fence.

It was a pain in the ass to navigate. If you’re trying to maintain any kind of pace, just run on the roads the whole time. This trail took me 30% longer to run just to figure out where I was supposed to be going.

I commend whoever recorded this for cobbling together a route out of what was available, but these trails are better left for horses than runners.

Nice gentle walk along the cliff.

great scenery of nature, found birds, bees, dogs, bees, and more beautiful nature.
had a lot of fun with my lovely wife....

Fun to see the seasons change in this garden walk! New blooms surprise and delight! Additional Trails cut through the conifer grove, or down by the soon-to-be restored duck pond. I like to return as the garden looks different each time.

overgrown in parts close to the george f. canyon but manageable. to use the martingale trail you need a permit now. in other words, trepassing if no permit

very short trail. disappointed it was that short. can follow trail or can go a little off and climb over some rocks. easy hike. nice rope u can use to climb up one area.

I have never been there before

Thanks to the All Trails app for introducing me to this gorgeous place! When I arrived, the ticket office attendant asked if I was there to do the Hidden Pumpkin Patch Scavenger Hunt. I wasn't, but I decided to do it. Suuuuuper fun! You really see the place that way. A lot of love and care went into that.

Two things: somehow my phone led me to the back service entrance, and the cell reception was bad, so I had to guess my way around to the front entrance. Got there easily enough, though. Also, the price of admission was $9, which I thought was too high. If I lived closer, I'd be interested in buying a membership that they were advertising, because I want to go back SOON! I was only there about an hour, but I could spend weeks!

Good for all ages, lots of resting ares n shade. great garden!

great view easy hike

Sweet little hike along the bluff. A great way to daydream about living in one of the many beautiful homes down there. After parking, face the ocean and turn left. The trail ends at a wall of an estate. Turn around and head back the way you came. I would not advise trying to hike down to the beach.

The view is beautiful, and at the end there's a nice beach with only a few people there. But as far as the hiking trail, it's pretty plain

Beautiful stretch of beach on a very rocky shoreline. The hike ends at a cement drainage spillway. I would not recommend hiking at high tide. This seems to be a popular spot for surfers.

I like spiders and crickets. I saw a lot of them here on this trail. If you like spiders I highly recommend this adventure!

a lot of rocks. small patch of sand

It was a nice time with my family. My children enjoyed the flowers and searching for the dry lake & creek. Wish they had more street signs. Great walk!

walkimg with dogs and my sons. Arrived later than desired and cut short to get out before dark. Beware of horse dung...there is lots of it. Also a creepy wailimg of some bird or cats not sure. Then trail was clear and defined, I'll try again early in the day.

I've loved this garden since I was a child! It's a beautiful place to explore especially if you're looking for a short walk that's not strenuous.

This is a great, all paved trail for people looking for a nice stroll, children, or elderly people. There are flowers from different landscapes along the way.

It's nature, right in your backyard.
If you are looking for a gnarly trail to conquer, this isn't the place. But if you are looking for a pleasant nature walk, it's hard to beat, since it is but a mere 10-15 minute drive from home.
A terrific place to spend a couple of hours outside, without having to get all geared up.

It would help to know the Ticket prices or Entrance fee listed on this App.

Very nice place!!!

Good for a nice walk. Very nice view.

Very easy, flat, heavy trafficked. Trail doesn't go down to the beach or leaves developed area so not a real trail into nature. Still, decent view of the coast, although gated.

Maybe I went the wrong way? I followed an obvious trail that lead down to the coast... But, most of the hike consisted of picking over the rocky shoreline. The views are beautiful though!

Nice little bit of a breeze. Short trail best with shoes that have good tread . Not the best if raining. Good for watching boats and sea life with binoculars. Not bad trail for dogs .
