Hiked this trail this morning. Really lovely trail. I missed out the small loop to the camp site and came back down via the PCT.

I was there in 2008 - before the station fire. I’m glad I have memories of the trail with the trees intact. I was shocked to see how much damage the fire caused. It was still beautiful.

I loved this hike, I did it on 3/31, the weather was perfect, the trail is easy to follow that I didn't need to look at map too often. I can't wait to do it again!

We make a loop using the road and the trash dumped here is horrible.
The trail on its own is great and maintained fairly well. So a 4+ on the trail as mapped. A 3 because the surrounding is not great.

Drove all the way there to find out we could not park our car without an adventure pass . No mention of that in the app!!!!

Fun route! Did it yesterday, an inch of snow all the way up but never got any deeper than that. Good views all the way up in different directions, into the Angeles NF mountains and out into Antelope Valley. We went counterclockwise and enjoyed being on the PCT on the way up. The ATV track made for a wide, gentle route down. Terrain and steepness not too difficult even at the top (no scrambling, gentle to moderate slope), and there's a campground right at the top that looked pretty nice to stay at sometime.

I loved this hike!

Easy.

Underrated hike! Long, but worth it. Great views of the both the San Gabriels and Antelope Valley. Would love to camp at the summit sometime.

Hiked the PCT from Mill Creek Summit to Mt. Gleason, 21 miles round trip. Was very windy at Mill Creek but once on the trail, the weather was great. Small patches of snow near the top. The PCT was in good shape except for a few down trees and some overgrown bushes. Signed the register on Mt. Gleason, some may find it hard to find. If your up to the mileage this is a good hike. The views, forest, and grade of the PCT will make this trip worth your time. The skeleton forest isn't going away soon but it's time to discover this hike.

Nicely developed campgrounds. Little boring on the way up since it was an ohv trail but the way back down on the pct was amazing! Definitly worth an overnighter. I hit the trail at about 1:00pm and made it to the top in time for sunset

Though it was tough, this was such a worthwhile hike. There is a campground at the top, but no water. We saw no other people on the trail and the views are spectacular.

We did this trail today for the second time. The grade is fine and the trail is easy to follow. We prefer to follow the PCT a bit longer than this map suggests, but we still end up at the junction with the fire road that takes us to the top.

Easy to hike, easy to run. However some of the trails are cut off by fallen trees. Overall easy for a great scenic view of the canyon.

It's a well maintained trail. Well the trail it's self is maintained, off the trail is a huge mess. It's essentially the best beginner hike. The trail is fenced in so it's pretty hard to get lost and not much of a wow factor, simple and subpar. If you have been actively going on hike with more of a challenger or more scenery this isn't the hike for you.

Great Morning 4 a Hike...

Trail is well defined by wood fencing. Couple steep hills in the beginning but not too much after that. Stay on the trail. We went off trail and it would be easy to get turned around in the desert plus unfortunately, there is trash everywhere tucked back through there. On the trail though, no trash and everything looks clean.

Great trail! We started at the Bill Reilly Trailhead. It was 95 while we were hiking but much of the trail is shaded. Only a few other hikers on a Sunday afternoon.

Some geocaches if that's your thing. I'd like to say there was much to see, but...compared to Vasquez Rocks or devils punch bowl, it's a better run then anything

Perfect walk or hike with your dog on a cool day. We really enjoyed it. It is easy with a few short somewhat steep hills thrown in.

We could not believe the amount of dog waste on the trail and we take three dogs with us. Clean up after your fur babies!

Nice little trail for when you just want to walk around for a bit and pass the time.

This hike took us about 5 hours round trip. There were a couple of points where we had to negotiate over/under some very large trees that had fallen across the trail. There was also still a few patches of snow here and there that had packed into some pretty slippery ice. Just be careful and wear good boots and you should be fine. This trail must have been gorgeous before the fire that tore threw there in 2009.
