Nice easy trail! Great if you have kids. It ends at the lake and the view is amazing.

Grueling but rewarding.

Great length of concrete with little hazards for an Esk8

Easy walk ocean setting

Tough hike, but epic views and not a lot of foot traffic.

Offers a perfect veiw on a sunny day, lots of places to relax and enjoy the beauty.

All worth it! Beautiful Waterfall View at end of hike! It was not too hard. Fairly moderate hike. Don't forget to bring water & snack. But a few biker speeders who zoomed past by us and created a super duper road dust all over. Not cool. Otherwise it was an awesome trail.

5/23/18 Lovely, secluded beach. The tide was low and it seems like it would be a great place to play soccer as the sand is very flat and hard packed. It was definitely not nearly as difficult as beach walks usually can be. My dog and I walked south all the way to Bennett Slough and out onto the fishing levee. Lots of birds, otters, and seals about. It was foggy but not very cold.

Great hike for the kids. Trails are very clean and safe for kids to walk on.

beautiful view of running dam at end of trail; close access of its not busy.

mostly wide paths. uphill on the way to the dam, downhill on the return, except for the paved part right before the dam (about .25 miles).

Auburn national park is a great place for outdoor easy peasiness.

wonderful hike!

Beautiful walk super clean dogs love it

Beautiful trail, easy hike.

Great trail! Great for families. Great views and very peaceful!

Gorgeous trail with a very scenic overlook. Not hard at all. Warning: the park doesn't open until 7 AM and the rangers are strict about it.

One of my all time favorite locations for all types of outdoor recreational activities. This place is loved and very well maintained. I’ve Kayaked, hiked nine miles of trails around the lake, biked, watched Eagles, geese and camped. From the well maintained trails, to restrooms and staff, I’ve always enjoyed this location.

I love hiking this trail! we always see lots of mountain bikers who are the most polite trail companions. I think this trail has lots of hills and it's Rocky, but I like it, never boring.

A good day hike with great views. Very crowed for a Monday.

Did this trail today. Camp group was closed so that added 1 mike each way to get to and from the trailhead. It’s tough coming back up but worth it! It rained during the hike and parts of the trail were slick. Overall beautiful trail.

I was able to hike 8.2 miles up and down all of the trails. This will ALWAYS be my favorite place to hike in Southern California!

Moderate scrambling, but fun for the whole family ! The pools are awesome and if you don’t mind cold water take a swim!

We camped here last weekend and decided after setting up cap to hike around the lake- FYI this hike is closer to 9 miles. We are both in great shape and It took us a long time, but the trail is flat and every angle of the lake is beautiful. There is a waterfall along the trail that is gorgeous! We will definitely come back in the summer when we can get in the lake.

Excellent trail with amazing views of the lake!! Runs along the cliffs overlooking the water and through some forested areas. Spotted many ospreys in the nests along the way! Will do again if I come back!
