The beginning is steep, and it was pretty foggy the day we went. The fog was actually kind of cool, though. Good 1:30ish hour hike.

Only negative is the limited parking, but it’s a great hike!

Poison oak and very exposed trail, no shade. Not very pretty.

Moderate hike up to great vista point. A little busy in parts, lots of mountain bikes around. Partly shaded.

So. Many. Foxtails.

Best to run in the morning as there is no shade on the trail.

Great hike with wonderful views and some incredible Bay Area history. Not difficult but not flat by any means. A perfect hike for a sunny day in the Bay. This would be a good hike to go on and bring a small picnic with you.

Great training route, the Crack Crack trail near the summit has some challenging terrain.

Steep climb and descent but great views

Definitely not a hard hike! It has some legs that are uphill but apart from that it’s pretty easy. The hike has some insane views when it gets near the ocean. Highly recommend it!

Nice trail and great view of pacific + peninsula once you get to Sweeney ridge

The road to Adobe Drive in Pacifica used to be known as Planet of the Apes Road by mountain bikers. Old road grade from McNee is easy to intermediate viewpoint for a short workout. Leaves out the final leg to Montara Mtn. About 1.5 hours.

Absolutely beautiful views! There were many amazing viewpoints, especially on the Old Colma Bicycle Route (the 0.8 mile out-and-back part near the water). The area hike was surprisingly varied. Most of the hike was relatively easy, but the switchbacks on Old Colma, and the last 1.5 miles down the Boyscout were more challenging. If you want to make this a moderate difficulty hike, do it as an out and back instead of a loop! The trail is really only ~7 miles, since you can easily walk back to your car along Higgens Way (the street).

Nice for a quick day trip or exploring

Tough first half

The Baquiano Trail is a lovely hike. The trail from Fassler Ave starts off steep but flattens out in the middle. It gets steep again just before it meets Sweeney Ridge. There are stunning views from all sides as you hike and very little "traffic" on this section. Do note, the "All Trails" map layer has the trail name spelled wrong, as of this review, and the section starting at the church is actually the "Farallones View Trail".

Pretty gentle up and downhills, but not much of a trail (mostly an old asphalt road)

Great views of the Ocean, the Bay and reservoir; steep at points and mostly exposed.

Mori Ridge route is very steep in some sections w/ loose gravel. But great slot views of Pacifica and ocean panoramic up to Sweeney .

This is a gorgeous place to witness a scenic view of green hills and the blue of the Pacific Ocean. My friend and I started the trail from the old San Pedro Road to Montara State Beach. We saw so many bunnies - two horses taking a walk and lizards! It's worth it and beautiful.

Mixed - some paved road, some dirt trail. Nike Missle tower at the top is abandoned and spooky and adds a nice variety. Beautiful views of the Pacific, the city, the East Bay. (We couldn't quite find the perfect spot to 360 all at once. Maybe you'll have better luck!)

Decent hike. All uphill on the way out and all downhill on the way back. Wildflowers were pretty, lots of variety.

Directions through the app took us right to the trailhead. It did feel weird driving behind the orchid nursery, but that really is the right place. Just keep going, there's a big sign at the trailhead so it's obvious once you're there.

There is a paved section near the turnaround point but it's not the whole trail like a review below said, more like 1/4 of the trail.

Started at 4pm and the wind was a greater challenge than the elevation but it was just lovely with so many wildflowers in bloom and amazing views.

Solid trail that starts in trees before climbing out to low lying vegetation and views of Pacifica and the ocean.

Most of the hike is on paved fire road. I prefer softer dirt trails. They're better on your knees and hiking poles. This location seems better for mountain biking with all the cool courses and jumps.

it's a fun little trail with beautiful views

Great view. Issue is the trail may get too hot as there are no shades or any trees. Bring water.

The trailhead is hard to find, it's behind the Shelldance Orchid Gardens on Mori Ridge Road. You can only get there by taking a right off of 1 North. It's a nice hike with good views of the coast on one side and bay on the other. Right from the start the trail climbs for about a mile, mile and a half then it's pretty flat once you're on top of the ridge. It wasn't busy (we hiked on a Sunday mid day) but there were other people on the trail. If it's sunny bring lots of water, there isn't much shade. It was a good little climb but the hike overall fell a little flat, not entirely sure why.
