Loved this trail! I was a little lost in the beginning. You want to go right but go left/ straight. Pretty flat in the 1st half. Closer to the water it gets pretty rocky and lots of fun ! If you have good watershoes or waterproof shoes that will be super helpful!

This one of my favorite trails, it is beautiful at beginning you do not what direction to take fortunately there are people and you can get the right path soon which is to the right side. The half of the trail is plane the another half is rocky. You need to walk in the rock in the river. You need to wear special shoes and pans. There are poison Oak, but you need to identify the plant to be cautious. At the end at waterfall, you can find many people gather there. People try to climb the rock. You can see many beautiful views. You can park at street, and it is free parking. Wear you mask.

Views of the coastline and downtown LA were great. It was a hot day and I prayed for an ocean breeze that seemed to just tease me. I followed the route posted but ended up not taking the western loop down past the point (best views are from here - a must), I turned back towards the outhouse at the split on the advice of locals that said the route was steep beyond the benches. Added extra miles to my hike so I think I did over 13 miles. Great hike, but it took everything I had to finish it.

Super cool trial became pretty technical in the middle and final part. Lots of fun hiking along the stream, which is easier than alternative hill climbing. Lots of rock “climbing” at the end.

Great trail! Steep and Sunny! Parking was a little confusing, but you can park on the right side of the street- just no parking on weekends!

Poor trail, a lot of garbage, nothing to see except for the end. There’s way better around...

I went on a Monday afternoon and it was mostly bikers with some other hikers. The trailhead is on a residential street so just park on the street. There is a sign at the beginning of the trail listing the different paths. Please bring water because shade is sparse.

Great trail very easy me and my fam enjoyed it lots of shade on the trail

Awesome hike, one of the best in the area. Not to difficult of a hike but extremely worth the view. You have the ocean views and bright greenery all around you. Once you get to the viewpoint, there is a lot to see. Plenty of parking and restrooms before you go.

Great hike very crowded but definitely worth it.

This trail has some of the best views and without much of a steep climb. Parking was $3/hr but the whole loop only takes a little over an hour. The path is well maintained and wide enough to not brush up against other hikers when passing each other. There were plenty of benches along the way and picnic tables at the point. I also appreciated the signage and map. Something to keep in mind is that the park is popular with families and I noticed most parents were not providing their children with masks. Its also a horse trail so prepare to see those as well as bikes.

Definitely need to invest in waterproof hiking boots as you walk through a lot of little water streams. Trail various from narrow to wide making it a bit difficult to allow others to pass through. With this trail within the mountains this offers a lot of shade.

Little cloudy but not everywhere. People with mask. Easy for kids and older people. Enjoy it very much. Parking fee $ 12 but you can pay by hour too. 3 hours parking enough

This trail was soo pretty. i enjoyed it a lot. you can go with your dog, and kids. It was easy, and this trail is one of my favorites trails. The parking is free. i went two week ago. I really recommend this trail.

Saw an owl. High above misty clouds. Interesting cave boulders.

A fun adventurous LA hike! You go over a lot of tiny streams of water and it leads to a small waterfall. Once you get there, there’s a rope and you can keep going... my husband and I went up the first rope and scrambled up some but didn’t feel confident about an actual trail to forge onward so we turned around. When you pass people it’s hard to social distance so be prepared for that. Overall I’d suggest this hike if you haven’t tried it at least once :)

Beautiful trail very green with wildflowers and tons of poison oak. A bit of scrambling at the end. Waterfall is anticlimactic but trail is shaded and pretty easy.

I would recommend this trail for a nice 4 mile afternoon. Rather steep in places so moderately experienced hikers only. Beautiful views and nature! Some cool sandstone rock formations too.
