Nice shady walk on a hot day. Disappointingly fee other hikers wearing masks, even while passing on a narrow trail.

Very steep hike but gorgeous view on top. It will take you to private property but there were no signs till the end. It was a great hike for hikers who love challenge.

Quick hike. Easy walk. Waterfall was not bad.

Great hiking along the fire roads. The Quarry trail is steep and rocky

Really pretty wide open spaces with great views at elevation. Lots of cows, if you like that sort of thing (I do). Not much tree cover so bring sunscreen.

Just meandered around taking whatever trails looked interesting. It was a good mix of ups and downs, fire roads and trails, exposed and shaded. Such a gorgeous place to hike.

Very easy walk can be very narrow in some parts and a lot of space to pull off if a mountain biker is speeding down the trail! We like to take the windy Bahia trail west (out)then take the high grounds on the fire road back East.

great climb on the mountain bike.

noticed no mountain bikes but horses? that's actually not legally marked. In court any trail deemed for horses shall be shared with with mountain bikes. bikes give way to horses, horses give way to hikers.

Nice, moderate but challenging hike, especially a month-and-a-half into the quarantine and pretty out of shape. Lots of green rolling hills and clear views of Novato, Marin and beyond. Great way to start the day!

Super short hike. Trail is wide and easy to follow. Everyone said poison oak is everywhere and overgrown, but I didn't really even notice it. Falls were steady but minimal. The streets to get here, house nice real estate and neighborhoods.

Wonderful views of the Bay Area. Had lots of fun passing by the cows (they were not afraid of me or my pup). There were about a dozen ticks on my dog at the end of the hike. May sure to do a tick check afterwards! And, obviously, pup friendly :-)

Nice morning hiking ..........

Waterfall steady flow but running a little slow.

Quite a few bits of the downhill are washed out. So you have to take the mountain bike switchbacks.

Had a lovely little hike with my 4 year old. She made it 1.5 miles before saying her legs were “too tired” We saw a red tailed hawk, turkey vultures, quail, and turkeys. Wear long pants, there’s lots of poison oak!

this was my access to and from Chicken Shack from my home without going down clay Court. Involved a trail that is unmapped. I only started recording when I first got to Chicken Shack so it goes up Chicken Shack down Chicken Shack and back the way I came

This is a beautiful serene hike. I do recommend taking the trail over the top for a little bit of a climb and some beautiful views. It is a bit overgrown so long pants are recommended. A bug spray wouldn’t hurt

Very nice wide trail and not too busy on a Friday morning (presumably it’s more busy now because of the quarantine). Dogs are allowed on leash or under voice control. Great for birding, bring your binoculars.

This trail, along with many other trails linked together was in a cow pasture. Trails were dry, rocky in some places and mostly wide enough to maintain social isolation. Many wildflowers, mostly buttercups, blue dicks, Ookow, blue eyed grass, lots of California poppy, sun cups, hairy vetch and lupine. The cows were very friendly and I even stole a quick pet with one of them. The trails were mostly open fields with a few scattered mature Valley Oak trees which made a great place to eat lunch under a tree, of course if the cows weren’t already there hanging out. I seen 4 bald eagles and though I didn’t see many songbirds, I did occasionally hear the Stellar blue Jay. All and all, this was a good neighborhood place to hike for some exercise but not a place worth driving from a distance to see. No restrooms, too sunny with little shade, no parking fee, nice wildflowers and friendly cows, however, I won’t repeat this hike when there are many better hikes closer to my home.

Down run from top section is hard to run, had to walk from about 1 mile

Such an easy trail. People of any age can do it. It isn't too long and strenuous too. Don't be too discouraged when you don't see water in the stream halfway through. You will still be rewarded with a waterfall at the end. Currently, it is still there with some trickling water.
