great hike. We were with a Parks & Recreation guide that showed us the way to the M. It has beautiful views from the summit.

Good moderate trail. Seems like most people approach the peak from either the southwest trailhead or the northeast. We did it as a loop. This took about 2.5 hours with breaks. Agree that GPS is helpful because there are many side trails and signage is lacking. The trailhead by the museum leads up to the summit on a narrow, fairly steep and rocky trail, we approached from this direction, once at the summit the trail down (toward the northeast) was more gradual, smoother and wider. Saw no one on the approach and just a few people on the way down. Beautiful rock formations, clean trail. Glad I had a hiking stick especially for the approach.

Easy hike. I went off the main trail and hit some peaks on the side trails. Then climbed some large boulders to the summit for a 360 of MV

Lots of loose dirt and rocks. Plenty of donkey droppings. Good views looking southwest towards Morneo Valley and March Air Reserve Base.

Drive in via Perris Blvd. and come east on Jaclyn or Katmia Avenues as Kitching running north off of Ironwood turns into a rut filled dirt road.

The Cold Creek trail is a wide, multiuse path that skirts housing developments and strip malls. It's an easy, though unshaded, walk. You can easily make this more challenging by following one of the many use trails that go up the small, boulder-strewn hills.

This is a challenging trail, it has beautiful views at the top. But for me no real scenery or beauty or plant life even along the way It’s super exposed to sun too.

For trail running, this is one of the best I've found near Riverside. First 1.3 miles is near vertical - hard to even get strides in. The rest is a climb but evens out a bit more.

Hiked two trees trail today and then branched off to the north. Great weather and not toobmany people out.

A lil workout. Seen a lot of rabbits, lizards and squirrels. Fenced in trail. A lil bit of graffiti at the top. No waterfall today.

Is moderate for hiking but there are snakes on the way

A great trek....Took the whole family on this one...youngest 2 years old and she walked the entire thing by herself. Those saying the trail is hard to follow must be beginners...it is very simple. Not confusing at all. Very little to no shade so be careful if you go when it is hot.

Really verticle hike. No shade, but a good workout.

Quick out and back with an excellent panoramic view at the top and loads of wild sage. There are multiple routes to reach the top of Olive Hill. This map follows the least strenuous route.

Easy if you are an experienced hiker. I've seen people of all shape and size on it. Use a GPS to follow trail because there are a lot of "shortcut" trails.

Pretty easy trail for moderately advanced. Recommended for all fitness levels if you take your time.

love this easy and fast to put in a work out with my dog..

This was a good hike. We went in February. Looks like pretty hot summer hike though.

way way way harder than easy. this is super tough. not Not not an easy trail to hike or bike. easy rating is very misleading.

starting from Riverside off of blain great trail, I've been doing this hike for years there are a few different ways you can start this hike from Moreno Valley and in Riverside which is a little more challenging

Not really good for mountain biking. Views of the sunset are beautiful and if you’re on foot, I’d still count it a moderate hike. Certainly isn’t flat. But on bikes, to climb from the trail head near UCR you’ve gotta have some serious climbing ability. The steepness alone is one thing. But there are big rocks jutting out of the path making it difficult to maneuver. I’m not a pro and I’m sure it can be done but for the average rider, I’d say stick to hiking on this trail.

One of my favorite trails near home. I do this one once a week for practice. Going up hill is the best part since their is a little of rock climbing involved. amazing view if Lake Perris
