Saw the sign on the end of Coffee Rd last week so i decided to do it. No markers other than at the beginning so I hiked the widest points of both side and didn't do much asphalt. Enjoyed the single tracks and looks like a decent place to play frisbee golf

Nice peaceful trail between the Tuolumne River and the back of the Modesto Airport. Nice river views. The 1st part of the park has lawn and a playground and the back 2/3 is natural with mostly oaks and a few walnut trees. Saw a few people fishing and a few homeless in the area.

Very nice clean area to walk, bike or wheel along in your chair. It has a pretty good amount of shade and is used by a lot of people but mostly women. I saw a lot of moms with strollers. It connects with some shaded neighborhoods that I noticed a lot of people were using as well. It also goes by a couple of city parks. This used to be an old railway and is signed with plaques everywhere. There are metal benches and picnic tables every few hundred yards.

This is hidden gem in Modesto. Love the single tracks along the creek. Great trails along the way. Lots of walkers, runners, and bicycles if you come early. The bathroom is clean near the basketball courts.
Lots of homeless people near the park if you come later. They seem to be living all along the creek. I would not come alone.

City bike path that goes over the top of underground Hetch Hetchy water delivered to Crystal Springs for San Francisco's drinking water. It's also a power line corridor. Clean path with no homeless seen including the 2 parks it goes beside. Asphalt path that goes along in a constant ssss. It goes past Chrysler 99 Park and Wesson Ranch Park. Decent place for the locals to walk.

One of the best of the dz trails I've done in the area over the last 10 days. Not much to choose from in the summer in the flatland. The best parts of the hike were the side trails that the mountain bikers have done and keep up. I would've rated this higher if there weren't so many homeless people living here and using it for their dump... The backside between the 2 pedestrian bridges shouldn't be done by women or children. Sketchy at best... The creek itself looks like a chemical wasteland. Heard one frog jump. 97 when I got off the trail...

I agree this is a ditch not a river. The only time it could be considered a creek is when there is an abundance of rain. Then there is the issue of homeless and drug users. I’ve lived in this area for over 30 years and every year seems worse then the year before. Don’t waste your time!

Sunday morning, plenty of walkers, bikers, dig walking etc. felt completely safe.

Easy walking trail. It’s all cement so it makes it pretty easy to walk.. just watch out for the homeless people some will decide to pee down the river or hide there to do drugs. which is gross if you want to go down to see the river. Keep them out please...

Hot and dry in the summer months. Nicest after the winter/spring rains. Early morning or evening is best, but be off the west end before full dark as the neighborhood is very sketchy. Closest thing to a nature walk in Modesto. Be mindful of bikers.

I had a great walk with my dogs on this easily walkable trail. The drinking fountains were a plus!

Easy paths for everyone and nice off trail paths for the more adventurous. Lots of trees to shade you along the way. Clean also. Didn’t see any litter.

This is a ditch not a river - almost funny... still got some miles but this is the most off base description. I’ve seen on this app. Do not go unless you want to walk along a paved path by a dirty slew ( sorry)

Best trail in the area!

Random poop piles, dilapidated tents and sleeping bags strewn along the shore of the creek, mounds of trash, stray dogs, and wandering tweekers. Ignoring those, it's not a bad trail.

Long, flat, shade options, paved with dirt trails to the sides. Public bathroom that are kind of dirty. Best early morning or late evening as the sun can get intense mid day.

Great easy trail whether you just wanna take a stroll, bike ride, or walk the dog. There is also a park for the kids and a basketball court.

Probably the best running path/trail in Modesto, but that's not saying much. The eastern half had a lot less homeless.

Great place to go if you want to get away from car traffic. Can get warm, so take water. We saw people allowing their dogs to poop and not cleaning it up, but other than that-friendly place to get outside
