Trail was great. The only drawback was there is no resting area. Couple of benches beneath trees would be a good idea. Weed was high and covering the trail between monument peak road to monument peak trail. Watch out during that part of the trail.

Good view, not many shades. Stay on trail . I saw people walked outside of the paved trail for pictures but be aware i saw rattle snake there

With jack... couldn’t go far because he couldn’t do much, but it looked awesome. Will come back on my own

Nice wide paved road, good for kids. Close to farm, where kids love to see cows and birds.

a good half day hike.

Great views of the valley and bay and the clearest I’ve ever seen. Wild flowers are still in full bloom. Very little tree cover so bring plenty of water.

Some of the gates on the trails are a little tricky to open at times. Might need to push the gate up a bit to get it out of the way before you pull the handle to unlatch.

Pretty awesome trail. The first half was almost entirely at an incline, sometimes was difficult on this beautiful 80deg and sunny day. Plenty of flowers and wildlife to appreciate!

Early in the morning it is not crowded. Some parts were pretty steep, but short in distance. If there was no fog. the view would be nice .. I guess.

Slightly more strenuous hike, but worth it as the views for gorgeous. Rolling Green hills with wildflowers and not too crowded. You'll spend a lot of time dodging horse and cow poop along the way. Bonus: you'll see a lot of cows on the trail.

Great trail with beautiful views. Wasn't expecting how steep it got but still a great journey. Our small dog was pretty beat after and it was definitely and adventure with the cows we had to maneuver around on the trail. It kicked my Butt and I k ow we all will be ticketed out tonight and sore tomorrow.

Recommend spring hike. Start early to beat the sun/ heat.

Great hike and lots of cows on the way back. Followed most of the route suggested. Hiked up from Monument Peak Trail and hiked down from Agua Caliente Trail. Finished it before raining so trail was dry and not muddy. On the way back on Aqua Caliente Trail, I had to slow down several time and even stop to deal with cows on the trail. Did not dare to pass in between cows, always tried to detour if possible.

Super muddy 1st/last mile, almost ate it several times coming down as it was raining pretty good. Lots of cute little roadblocks (cows) on the way.

Good trail but there were sections where the cows blocked the road

this hike would have been fine if it wasn't raining. the ground was so soft due to the horse and cattle droppings. everything was extremely slippery. I'm sure this would be much more pleasant during warmer weather.
