Not much but better to do in the summer than the others close by I've done. This one goes from a boat launch along a littered polluted river. But in this area there isn't much for trails...

There were lots of quail and cottontail rabbits. This would be beautiful in the winter or spring when there are ducks and geese everywhere.

Not much to it. Saw plenty of quail and cottontails, a couple of hawks and a fox. My lab enjoyed seeing some of the critters. Best done in the winter or spring when there is water and waterfowl in the area.

We loved the scenery. Bit windy, and we ended up getting off the trail to take the waters edge around. We ended back on trail and all together was pretty neat. We will be back to do it again

Noone but us, the birds, coyotes, rabbits, mosquitoes, and plenty of traffic on the northern edge of both trails. Both loops in less than an hour.

While the area is lovely, the trail itself is completely overgrown and riddled with burs and bugs. We were only able to get in about 1 mile before it became too itchy and had to turn around. I'd love this hike though if it were maintained a bit better!

It was nice and empty, but probably for a reason. Tons of foxtails to drive you crazy, and our dog was covered in ticks after we got back to the car. This area is best explored from your car.
