Pass no trespassing sign and take road to fence, take trail past bee keep and you’ll see a sign for the Beeli Goat Trail. Trail is overgrown and a used trail with a steep grade. Short but direct.

Its *****CLOSED****

For most of the trail, there was enough space for appropriate social distancing (especially in the first 2 miles).

Great trail. Not too many people at all. We went in the late afternoon yesterday when it was moderately cool. I’m so disappointed about not completely the hike in its entirety. My family was really nervous about the steep hills and kinda afraid to enter the caves lol. I can’t wait to go back without the kids!

Pretty dope.

Nice place to hike

Not bad, not great! A little too close to the highway, so you always hear the cars noise. Overall, pretty decent trail for a chill 1-hour hike.

Nice, peaceful spot

Nice hike for all levels. Definitely a nice hike just to walk around. Parking was easy to find - got there around 4pm on a Saturday.

I liked this trail! It’s not too difficult and has a few shading moments. Easy parking and good elevation!

Nice fire road, wide enough for a safe pandemic walk. Great views

The distance is nice, but I would not rate this trail too highly. Crowded with people and cars. After a walk or a run my chest got tight and I coughed a lot afterwards. I feel the surrounding smog may have a negative impact on my lungs.

As others Have said, this hike is definitely more moderate than easy in terms of the steepness of the climb. There are lots of switch backs and you’ll def feel in the glutes! Having said that, it’s a very wide path, which is nice during these social distancing times. It does get crowded as this is a popular hike, but the views of the city, the Hollywood sign and Griffith are worth it!

Ehh not that hard

It was such an easy and great hiking in the city. It has fair inclines. If you want to avoid crowds and extremely hard sunshine, I would recommend to start earlier than 9am.

I came at 7 am parking is free and lots of spots available. I would recommend this trail for beginners . Nice views, easy smooth trails to run. Not much of an incline so if you are looking for a more intense hike then this is not the trail . Dog and family friendly. Overall experience was okay .

This was a very flat walk but good for dogs and city views.

Nice, easier trail if you are looking to get out for a little exercise and some sun. I like how it loops around all the way by the 5 freeway. I think if you go back the same way it will probably be a little more uphill for a bit harder hike

We did the playa trail and that was a good hike. I like how at the end of the trail there was a steep hill that you can run up. The incline is nice. It’s a great workout.

Honestly a super confusing loop but if you constantly check the app you’ll be able to reroute yourself.

Great trail, easily marked and super wide, so you can keep social distancing. Although, if you want to see the Hollywood sign from the top, you need to get off this trail and take your left at the top. There are signs to guide you. I went at the end of the day, it totally worth it! Great view of the city!
