This little park is much needed in this not so nice neighborhood. It's pretty but very very small. Good amount of birds flocking to it and enjoying themselves. Not a good destination spot for a hike at all though.

Not a bad trail for a full day. Would of been a 5 star but you walk along the 5 freeway. Otherwise beautiful views through the hills.

TBH not my favorite. A good half of this trail is on pavement alongside cars, which just isn’t always ideal considering some idiots drive fast on the roads. When there’s a good amount of other hikers it gets crowded quick and feels congested. Following this trail was a little confusing and I got turned around a bit. I knew it was just me when a few people also asked for directions. Once you get on to the unlaced trail, it’s a lot better bc it feels like an actual hike... except for you look directly to your right and it’s facing a trafficked street, which if you’re trying to unwind this isn’t that. It was messed up to see so much tagging and litter but I mean, some people are awful.

Beautiful views of the ocean and city. Super dog friendly. We love it!

Would go counterclockwise as walking Elysian Drive part of the way is boring. And you could do that going downhill to your car. Rated as moderate; I’d go moderate junior or Easy but a little challenging. I’d do it again. The views are fantastic

Good, easy mellow trail with some elevation gain

Awesome park to play soccer or baseball at. The stadium lights stay on well into the evening. The trail here is best used for running or walking your dog. Level dirt path.

my boys and I did this hike in July 2018. we parked just below the conservatory and it was free parking. Which is not often found these days. The paths were clear and well maintained. They were less 'hiking' trails and more like 'roads', but never the less it was a memorable day. We made it up to the sign and the views were amazing. The trail is very easy. there is no shade on the trails so depending on when you do go, pack water, sunscreen, and be pepared.

Not a lot of incline of you want to have a nice long walk up a fire road .. views are amazing .. you can see the ocean all the way to Catalina island all the way back to Burbank to Woodland Hills

Nice and easy trail...enjoy!

Nice to see the Hollywood sign from close range. Trail surface is compact dirt and is very wide. The first mile is a bit of a climb but after that it’s easy as the trail winds back and forth for fantastic views of the city. Not a lot of parking and also here is no park fee. Enjoy this one!

Great trail. Lots of dogs off leash so if that bothers you I wouldn’t recommend this trail.

Great, semi-challenging hike. I took the hard way up and would recommend it for dogs. The path was thing and washed out because of the rain. You’re on the side of the highway so some parts were scary in the beginning. Once you get passed that it’s greats. The last leg was mainly road, great for running. Watch out for the cars though! Happy hiking

Great trail for beginners. We started at Fern Dell Drive and took the right side loop going up and left side loop going down, it’s easier that way bec the left side is steeper going up and would be more challenging. There are stopover points with great views on the way and once you reach the top (observatory) are treated to learning and info galore. You’ll get physical and mental exercise.

great trail inclines perfect not hard but also not super easy perfect place to spend a hour or 2

Homeless people, tents, trash, and giant dumpsters that haven’t been emptied in many many years. Thumbs down.
