Easy walk. Nice view of the Hollywood sign.

Brief by nice view of the lake once you get to the bridge. Not much shade but a decent loop around.

Massive beehive. Got swarmed and chase, then stung. BEWARE!!

Was a nice easy trail! Started off with a flat walk around the lake. Great view! After the bridge is where the real hiking starts. Overall nice and easy :)

Eat your Wheaties before you try to catch this tiger by the tail. These inclines are not for the faint of heart. Great steady workout tho!

This hike was a bit of a maze, a nice steady incline the first 2 miles. Good place to have breakfast or lunch as well.

Absolutely terrible on the ride in. Once on backbone and going south/downhill(The beehive/Joseph drop/ rogers and backbone) were nearly impassable on mountain bike. Sullivan ridge up (I assume down) was awesome

I came in the early evening. Still busy and many dogs. Be prepared to wait for a parking spot. First part of the loop is flattish and then winding on the way back. There’s a little creek to go over. Closes at 8.

Great trail, moderate climb with plenty of stunning views, good one for beginner trail riders if you stay on the fire trail..... not a lot of shade, take plenty of water... options at top to take back down if not doing the loop(which is overgrown). West Mandeville Ridge Trail the obvious.

We did this in reverse. North Trail to Bee Rock to Mineral Wells. We looped to get back to the pkg lot. Parts of Bee Rock trail is a bit dicy with parts that are hard to navigate. That section is crowded. Some people without masks.

Nice views. Trail was a bit easy so just kept going to extend the hike. Many people with no mask. Bring your mask.

Great trail with lots of wild flowers and views. Perfect for the cloudy day. Part of it is still closed due to construction, so the total distance was ~4 mi

Nice and easy short trail. Finished it in under an hour. Side note: please pick up after your dog if you bring them on the trail. It’s disgusting.

It's a long hike that requires lots of water and sunglasses or a hat. The first half was on a wide fire road, but most of the last half included a very long decline which I could feel in my shoes and legs. The decline is shaded and narrow so we had to go off to the side very often to keep a distance among those passing us. It felt good to see the ocean and put my feet in the ocean at the beach. We parked near the trailhead and took an Uber back. The restroom midway was closed.

The smell when you arrive near the Hollywood Drive entrance is very bad. The walk seems sterile because the “lake” where I believe they are cleaning sewage, is gated. There’s only one good view and that’s where you are crossing the dam. That view is the only thing that kept it from being terrible. We like unpaved hikes with variation, views, water access and/or views. The view of the Hollywood sign was exquisite though. The best and closest view I’ve experienced. Very little shade.

Not very crowded on weekday mornings, which is nice. A couple of people told me they saw a rattlesnake and to be careful...

The app shows this is for biking but there are signs saying NoBikes. Wasted trip.
