Great trail with fantastic views the entire way!

Nice calm trail that’s not too hard. It’s shaded in most parts and fairly wide so you don’t need to worry about brush and insects.

Trail is way too impacted right now. Would stay away from this one until the whole COVID blows over.

Wild flowers galore! Rolling hills, tranquil lakes and views. Makes for a great day out!

Really pretty sequence of trails and would highly recommend. However note that the first segment, called Canyon Trail, doesn’t exist anymore. It’s now just a grassy field.

I was here on May/5/2020. I hiked more than 6 miles, I hiked a bigger loop, it was 8 miles. I hiked up and down 3 different hills. it’s not too difficult. It was a little hot since it is not much shade. The trail gave me Flowers, lakes, rocks, trees, deers, and turkeys! Beautiful poppy flowers. Mother Nature using the color box, orange, yellow, purple, white, green. She paints those hills, and lets the wind flowing around them, made them so spectacular hills, Those hills were attached my eyes and heart with happiness and joy. I love this trail a lot, I will come back to this trail again.

Easy less than two hour trail up to the top and back. Beautiful wild flowers.

It is a nice hike, a lot of shade, a little up and a little down the whole trail, the fun part of this hike was crossing highway 35 and private property. I liked the view, it’s very pretty, I will come back.

It’s a good one, starts with a good incline to get the heart pumping and once you’re towards the top it’s like you’re in a scene from The Sound of Music:) gorgeous area to explore with a lot of different paths.

Very pretty and easy hike. Mostly through the woods so lots of shade. Their was a lot of bugs, but no bites it seems. I really enjoyed this one a lot.

Nice moderate trail, almost stroller friendly (we could pass it with a stroller but have to carry it a few times). Lots of shade!

Very nice trail. Suitable for families with kids. Nice views. Best time to visit March - May.

Pretty easy beginner trail. Lots of shade!

No road or trail access as of 3/26/2020. I hope this helps some of you out there.

Beautiful trail. First mile was constant uphill, so be warned.

Beautiful at this time of year , kids loved it

Amazing! One of the best places to go trail running.

Palo Alto exclusivity at its best. Can't hike there because I don't live in Palo Alto. Lame.

Was not permitted entry as I am not a Palo Alto resident. Lame

Nice hike and not crowded... Horseshoe Lake, Sunny Jim trail to Alpine Pond, a bit into the Ridge Trail returning on Ipiwa trail. Great views on a clear day!

Nice hike, I added extra miles to make it a 8+miles loop on mid December sunny Saturday. Only half of the trail is shaded but the view is stunning, you can see the bay clearly and the mountain with foggy cloud, awesome!!!
