I have done the nature trail several times with my 3 kids (ages 6,4,3). There are 3 different loops, the longest is about 2 miles. This is a great starter if you want to get your kids into hiking. There’s a lot of shade and animals. Great starter trail.

I did the portion of the Nature Center and it is beautiful, you can choose 1 or 3 miles . You may observe birds and just walking around the little lakes is nice.

This trip was intended to be a simple nature family walk but turned out to be more of a photo shooting session for mommy. I absolutely love the branch tunnel and I'm sure if I'm ever back in CA I will go back.

chilllllllllll...

Forgot they are closed on Mondays. Hiked the regional park instead.

A great morning walk/run

Great place to hike !!! Easy to get to .
Hikes are easy and scenic. Buy a annual pass if you plan on coming back . It's a great deal !!!

Great little trail. Well maintained.

Very nice, I should have got here a little earlier, a lot of people. Parking was $7.

Love this 2 mile hike, walk it 3-4 times a week and always a joy. constantly greeted along the trail by squirrels, rabbits, lizards, birds and the turtles.
if you just want a quiet place to be with nature, there are many areas along trails to sit on benches and take it all in. Early morning and later afternoons are my favorite times.

Great length of concrete with little hazards for an Esk8

Offers a perfect veiw on a sunny day, lots of places to relax and enjoy the beauty.

Very pleasant, easy to manage/navigate. The trails are well maintained, the wildlife is plentiful, and the scenery is stunning.

Personally, I prefer hikes with lighter foot-traffic (Rather feel like an explorer than a tourist), but this one is an exception. There are three hikes to choose from: 1/4 mile, 1 mile, and 2 mile, with the 2 mile being the best, in my opinion. However, all are worth experiencing, and, since the terrain is relatively flat, I’d recommend doing all 3 in one trip.

Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quick, pleasant hike

Pro Tip: there is parking in the neighborhoods near the park (check signs for street sweeping). It is a bit of a walk to and from the trails, but consider it a warm up for what’s to come

Easy, beautiful walk that will take you away from the hustle and bustle of the city for a short time.

Easy and enjoyable hike. Perfect getaway from the city life even if it's for an hour or so.

Super easy trail that's great for kids. It's pretty and has benches everywhere so you can rest and take in the view of the water.

Just a note, there is NO running allowed on these trails and it is strictly enforced. (Trust me I've got myself in trouble:)

Perfect trail for the little ones. We live this place!

great little trail, easy for a walk or a run. i take my dogs regularly. horses, rabbits, cyotes, ducks, cranes, hawks.... one of the best additions to the area. there are homeless in the river bed but they keep to them selves untill sundow.

I've ridden this bike path hundreds of times and it never gets old. Try to catch it during sunrise for an extra special ride. The afternoons can get busy through.

Great walk. Very clean and the walk/bike paths are separated. Parking is free until 8am, but only $1 an hour past that. I left at 7:30 am and parking lot was about 3/4 full by that time. 1/4 mile markers are in the walk path, very helpful. People were very friendly.

Very steep beginning...start slow to warm up...dusty and 76 degrees when I went - up to top and then over to towers and back. Used trekking poles which helped greatly for the steep down to parking lot. Note parking sucks 7 spots for many many hikers. Be patient for parking and beware permit parking accept those few in park spots.

Great hike though and great views!

Flat, not challenging at all. Many runners and walkers.

Love this trail. Great views and separate paths for bikers and walkers/runners. Several rest rooms along the way if needed.

really nice view!

This is a decent walk, if you want to walk when there is not much people. I usually go due to the fact that there isn't any people and I take my dog off leash. Nice scenery of the dichotomy of nature and city life. Very easy walk.

Great city walk. A little scretchy on the back side (east) near the tracks but all in all, nice place. I'm going back.

Nice place close to home to get an outside stroll in.
