It’s a good place for a morning run.

$6 day use parking fee so bring some cash!
Beautiful hike! Sandy, ZERO people, a true hidden gem! A bit of a trek outside of LA (about 2 hours) but worth it. Amazing 360 views of the desert and the mountains. The trail is pretty well kept until you get close to the top where it tends to disappear and then reappear again. A good amount of rock scrambling to get up to the top but hey, that’s half the fun!!

Great East and HOT ! Loved it great little power walk ! Rockie terrain for a little bit nothing crazy ! Great views of the scenery !

Love coming in the morning when there first open to take a short little 1 mile jog around the park a couple of times.

Easy flat trail for running or walking. Cute jack rabbits right on the path. Lots of Joshua trees and creosote bushes along the way.

I go here with my dogs all the time and its beautiful with the trail paved and plenty of restrooms

This isn’t considered hiking but it is a great place to observe some desert plants. It is well maintained and flat. I take my niece and nephew a lot for exercise and to spot birds and jack rabbits. It’s a great alternative to a regular park.

First hike in a while and I loved it! Be aware that the terrain gets pretty sandy at some points. However, it's so worth it, especially when you reach the peak and get to see all around Antelope Valley. I 100% recommend this hike when the sun isn't high in the air, not just for the heat but the scenery as well.

Nice Sunday hike around the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve Trails. We did the longest loop that takes you to 3 different vista points. About 5 miles total distance. Even with the 25-35 mph winds, it was still a beautiful spot to explore.

Very Easy walk, nicely kept walking trail.Enjoyable desert landscape.Rabbits abound.

I've been here many times, and I like it. One issue is the amount of geese poop. It's really gross. It isn't really a big issue, but if your dog likes to roll around on the ground a lot or on things, it's a wreck. My friend's dog had to be groomed because he was coated in it. It wasn't pretty.

Very nice and flat nature walk. Trails are well groomed and made accessible to all. This is great for families with small children as there are barriers to keep kids on trail. There's plenty of desert wild and plant life to see.

It was very peaceful, easy, and fun.

My first hike ever, it was nice and peaceful ! Not hard at all, lots of wildlife, some friendly! It was nice, I even liked the fact that there were kids playing at a school near by!

The “trail” isn’t the best part. It’s all about the awesome play equipment for your kids! My son loves it, even though it’s windy and covered in bird poo, so it’s fun and entertaining for me. They have the kids size “rock walls” and several play sites separated by bridges so naturally the kids felt like they were somewhere magical. :)

Easy, and quiet. All flat land.

Easy hike, not too many elevation changes... absolutely gorgeous at the right time of year, especially certain years. Was here in 2017 after a very wet winter following drought - incredible fields of poppies! The area is windy and without shade, and is also home to rattlesnakes, so dress accordingly. During superbloom events the park can fill up and lines to enter can be long, so get there early. And please stay on the trails!

I wouldn't really call this a trail but if you are in a wheelchair and want to get out for a bit...

Fun if you go off-trail.

Can’t even be called a hike. Dirt path in the middle of the city. Surrounded by a pretty ghetto neighborhood.

This isn’t hiking. It’s taking a walk around a fake lake on a paved road.

Just dirt and rattlesnakes unless you’re there on the right year in the right time of spring. Then you can see some beautiful poppies if their aren’t too many tourists standing in the way trampling the flowers.

Nice little trail to hike with kids.
