Fun hike with amazing views the entire time. A lot of different little trails meander through the hillside. Pretty easy and great just for the views. Also fun to hike the trails then hike back along the beach to the parking lot.

Stunning views! And a nice moderate level. Lots of people, and hard to find parking without paying the $15, but everyone is nice and it is well worth the effort!

This hike was good for our whole family as our age range was 3 to 69 years. It had a paved path the whole way with places to walk down to coves and play in the water or get closer to the seals. We went in the afternoon in October and there were a good amount of people but it wasn’t overly crowded. Side note: one mile into the trail is the “The Cave Store”. We paid to walk down the stairs to a platform and see the ocean. This was a huge disappointment. There was nothing to do at the bottom for the kids and we were literally down there for 5 minutes before we went back up. It was $5 for adults and $3 for the kids. Not worth the money. There are various caves along the beaches that they would much preferred to have explored.

I liked it. Difficult but fun for someone with a sense of adventure. 5 stars for someone with grit. Do not bring your posh girlfriend or kids.

This was a nice easy hike/walk. When you start the loop if you go right, there is a water fountain to fill up on water. Goes by a nice little Sand Canyon and also has ocean views. Most of the Torrey Pines hikes feature similar features. This was very enjoyable and not challenging.

Beach access was closed but we slid down it anyway. Took the road up to the top and then down the beach to come back. Awesome trail.

Amazing views, easy walk for all ages.

The walk to the trail was harder then the trail itself. Also there wasn’t much shade at all but it’s not that problematic since the trail wasn’t that long.

Not hard to find the entrance between a couple Mansions. A good trail down the hill, some scrambling required and crossing the plank. Did a side hike up the side after making it to the beach, a little more work but well worth it for the view.

Stairs to beach access closed. We came at about 2 pm and it was pretty crowded on the trails. The view and outlook points are stunning. The trails are nicely kept! I recommended this hike for the views. Parking is $20.

Beautiful hike. Stairs leading to the beach have been removed for repairs so you can not access the beach right now.

Beautiful trail. Fairly easy but with some stairs.

A very enjoyable hike. From trailhead, walked through Guy Fleming trail, Red Butte, Yucca Point and hiked down to the shoreline. Watching sunset was an added bonus. All of these factors make hiking in Torrey Pines more relaxing and worthwhile!

Enjoyable, easy trail that offered views of the cliffs and Pacific Ocean. The hardest part is the first mile. Mostly uphill, but it flattens out when you reach the top. The second part is all downhill with great views of the ocean. There’s a few scenic lookouts that can be accessed via the downhill trail. The third part is all beach.

Torrey Pines was absolutely breathtaking! We had a group of 39 including kiddos & older ones. The hike was fairly easy & the older ones expressed that it wasn’t too difficult. Once we looped around, we went down to the water & took a dip. Although finding the lodge to park was difficult, I know for next time! I would definitely go again.

Beautiful views, especially the overlooks (there were plenty and I enjoyed the razor point overlook a lot). Beach trail ended up literally on the beach potentially in the water, so wear appropriate shoes.
