We only did from the Quail Hill Community Center to Serrano Ridge Viewpoint but really enjoyed the trail. Quite a workout with the steep slopes.

Easy to moderate trail with a bit of uphill. light scrambling. There are multiple social trails, so, easy to deviate from original trail. I had to refer to AllTrails map for guidance, to stay on the right trail. Trail starts at the Chaparral park and continues through the park. free street parking.

Great easy trail that isn’t too long. Has one longer sloping incline but it should be manageable for most people. Great views of the mountains.

For what it is, a trail mostly following a road, it’s fairly nice. I’m always looking to get away from the sound of cars though.

Nice views of snowy mountains

Monster run: linked Shady to Bommer to East Fork and back via Serrano. Maybe 11.5 to 12 mile loop of up and down. Really enjoyed the feeling of being in a backcountry. Great canyon views! Legs good and sore. Definitely an advanced loop. Do Shady our and back for easy/moderate.

Truly one of Irvine hidden secrets. Easy, yet has good wilderness . Lots of birds and landscapes.

I love reading reviews that complain about the vegetation in July. It’s July....in Southern California

nice little trail for the doggo and the wife.

Lovely morning stroll. Great for bird watching and spotting plants. Had been raining over Thanksgiving so path was muddy in places. Very light foot traffic at 10AM. Note: binoculars can be hired at Audubon House (building in the car park).

One of my favorites for a quick hike. It’s easier to park at turtle rock community park then walk to the trail from Southerwood st and start the loop there. Also there is a nicer trail from Campus & Turtle rock underpass to the hills than walking on Amalfi street.

This was a fairly easy hike. There are many options to take to make your hike longer. We ended up hiking 5 miles total.

Fun, easy little trail. 2-3 hours There are some cool caves off trail in the hillside.

Good running trail, but no lights for night run, lots of bugs and no signs so it can get a bit confusing at times. Luckily everything loops back around to join the rest of the trail. Overall nice run

Bummer canyon and partial turtle ridge. 1st time here

This was a fun, long trail. 3rd and 9th mile were completely uphill. Elevation changes throughout the hike and many mountain bikers so be sure to pay attention and move out of their way to avoid accidents. There are a few great scenic sections and trail changes every mile or so, keeping you entertained. Definitely recommend!
