es super para caminar 4 millas ahoy yeee

We saw three ospreys very beautiful! We went early around 7:00am

Easy, scenic trail. Saw rabbits, countless birds, lizards and a baby rattle snake! Down side, you get hints of car noise from the PCH and not secluded.

Perfect

Enjoyed the birding photo opportunity.

nice hike with easy parking. a lot of runners so this might be a good spot if you like to jog/run

Nice easy walk along the beach! a lot of cyclers, so watch out for them. Lovely to walk during hot summer days.

Very peaceful when the weather isn’t great!

Great view!

it's alright, bikes restricted

A continuation of the Huntington Beach trail. Great area if you are a dog owner as they allow dogs on the beach. Tends to get a bit crowded and a hazard area as you may find yourself dodging someone's loyal companion. 4 star if I had a dog to take there.

What can you say. It's Huntington Beach. Paved surface that is facing the shore of the Pacific. Highly travelled with beach cruisers, roller blades, skate boards, joggers, and those just out for a leisure stroll. If not for the beach I'd give the trail a 3 star, but I just love beach view so it definitely warrants the higher review . Relatively flat with a couple small inclines so over all an easy trail. Great for an evening stroll if you're not looking for a lot of privacy or seclusion.

Nice place it has stairs and hills

Very clean considering it’s a dog beach. Little bit difficult finding parking sometimes but it’s possible and well worth the walk to the beach!

A quick trip from Belmont Shore, Long Beach for me for some mid week miles. Soft surfaces and a great run along the ridgeline below the houses up top provide for an excellent view of the Ocean. Sunsets are solid here as well.

Though a bit small for runners looking for serious distance (I tend to do double or triple loops of the entire place) it is soft on your legs and boats beautiful wildlife when you want to get off of the roads.

Not overly crowded during the week, but for the weekend, get their early. The parking lot is small.

Smooth and easy but have to dodge walkers.

All in all the trail was nice. A few forks in the road, but the apps map makes it easy to follow. Plenty of parking, but there was a lot of trash in the bay. However, I would recommend it.

The number of stars I want to give this trail really depends on which part of the trail I'm rating. I start from Orange/Anaheim and either ride south or north/east from there.

Going south to Huntington Beach you run into some head winds which makes things difficult, but my biggest issue is the miles upon miles of homeless encampments that really drag down the aesthetics of my ride. I don't feel unsafe, I just feel uncomfortable. The rest of the ride down to the beach is a bit dull until you get close enough to see the ocean. Once I get to Huntington I like to turn right and head up the Huntington trail along the coast.

I much prefer to ride north/east, especially up past Lincoln in north Orange. Again, right where I get on in Orange/Anaheim I have to ride through a considerable stretch of homeless encampments, but once I make it to Imperial Highway there's water in the riverbed and even a fair amount of wildlife. I usually get off at Yorba Regional Park and turn around, but it's still pretty going to the end of this stretch of the trail.

Overall, I like this trail because it's straightforward, accessible, completely separated from motor traffic, and long enough to get a good ride. I just wish more of the trail was aesthetically pleasing! I'm not asking for much, just something better than run-down tents and an empty concrete riverbed.

Love this trail! Try and schedule your runs around the tide. Mainly avoiding the low tide periods within the wetlands.

I love this trail, I always go back when I can it never disappoints!

quick nature trails. not really a hike, but very nice and easy

quick with ocean view.

Nice for a quick stroll or trail run. kid friendly. No dogs allowed. You can easily extend your mileage by going down the riverbed trail.
