Love this hike!

The way down is slippery..I recommend a walking stick for more stability.

A bun burner for sure!

Attempt to Cram Peak along old Morton Ridge Trail from Greenspot area. Easy dirt roads thru flats and into Morton Creek canyon. Trail forks off onto old dozer line along ridge. Came short of Peak by about 500 feet due to overgrowth and steep terrain at end.

Great views! Long trail but worth the walk. Great for dogs!

View from the top is amazing!! Challenging areas on the way up but well worth it!

I like back packing, hiking this riverbed. Sometimes ride my mountain bike all the way down to Riverside from here. Some homeless camps here and there. Be alert if go out on the riverbed. Still nice.

I’ve hiked this area a few times and it’s pretty Year around. I’ve also rode my mountain bike. Be prepared. Take first aid, plenty of water and power bars , you’ll need it. If you hike or walk this trail during summer time start early morning. It gets very hot. Lots of trucks and motorcycles so be very careful.

I enjoy the challenging trail up to the Peak. I'm 60 years old and it's great to know I can still do this hike.

I love the views st the top. The trail is uphill the whole way. It’s challenging but well worth it when you reach the top!

The trail is very easy to find n there's no trespassing signs or anything like that but there was a recent fire that burned some of this area n it's barren n sad looking to the left. The first incline it's pretty steep so I think this hike is on the harder end of moderate. Once u get past that first scare the rest is easier. I didn't venture that far in n I saw a coyote. I could hear water by where the trees are but there's kind of tall grass n brush n it looked to steep to try venturing down

Nice hike for cool evenings. It's basically a dirt road and can be steep. Great hike to do again and again.

Not well maintained, I think we need to set up a work party. We only hiked a small portion.

Trail was easy to find but very quickly we can see that it was not maintained and overgrown making it impassable.

My weekly workout! Great short trail with a nice elevation challenge. It gets easier every time!

We decided not to go all the way up because of the steep incline that may have required us to go on all fours in parts. But there are pretty views.

Wonderful view! If you're not in great shape, it's difficult but doable if you go slow.

Perfect conditions today, the view from the look out point was worth every step.

It was not bad good size trail at about 0.5 mile they is a good climb up, really the hardest part. All the recent rain has made it pretty green and nicer then expected.

This is a good workout. You hike up a fire road to the lookout tower. There aren't too many people on the trail, which is nice. The view from the top is absolutely amazing!! This is a great short challenging hike!

Not much of a hike, more like walking along a service road. The view at the top is really nice and if you stay for sunset it's very pretty. You can drive up if the gates are all unlocked.

Nice maintained road. Lightly traveled, although there are doe trucks that will drive by at time and dust you out

Disappointing, this trail should be taken down. Found the trailhead easy enough, but it really only was 1/2 mile at the most. The fire road ends abruptly at a ravine and looks to continue further up on the other side. Maybe there is another way to access the fire road higher up the hill. This trail needs to be updated!!!!! Great views.

broad trail easy to walk on. the gradation is not too steep.

it's been like months since my last visit. wait for me soon. :)

I hiked from the east side. You do not need an adventure pass. You can drive up to where the road splits if you want to get to the peak quicker. The trails are wide and not too rough with a chance to see some wildlife.

Great 5.5 mile round trip hike to a fire lookout. Views of Yucaipa, Mentone, and Redlands. The first mile is the steepest, then left at the gate and continue about 1.75 miles to the top.

I explored this trail with my friend in the afternoon. Since it's winter we only had 2 litres of water, which was enough. We saw a beautiful sunset from the top, and the moon was so bright we were able to walk by its light. It was a perfect and easily doable hike.

You can access the trail at the end of North La Praix Ave at coordinates 34.1423739 / -117.2004104. The posted trailhead is gated off. The trail has great elevation with wonderful views.

My son and I hiked to Cram peak from this point. I am not sure if this is Morton Ridge. I could not find the name of the Ridge on any map.
This trail is not used very much. It is very steep and no shade. Bring plenty of water. I brought my Camelback and two extra bottles. I am so glad I did. one thing I wish I would of wore is pants or boot guards. We had to keep cleaning out our boots from the brush.

This trail is a good work out. Enjoy come prepared.
