There are 3 access points to this trail on Freeman Lane: at each end as well in the middle near the water treatment plant. The trail consists of a smooth out and back paved black top. At each end there are unpaved trails down along Wolf Creek that loop back to the center access. This allows you to walk on the paved section or the trail or both. The south section along the creek is still in a work in progress. Also at access points there are a number of paved switchbacks.Show more

Well-marked, well-maintained trail in Grass Valley, CA. Officially a Y-shaped out & back with access points at Hughes Road, Nevada Union High School and Sierra College. Distance between any two points is about 2 miles but you can connect the north west leg into a loop through the Sierra College campus (like the map here) and the complete trail is just over 4 miles. This shaded walk with a gentle grade is a nice escape in an urban area. Note: you can loop south through the street from the northern most point as the trail ends at the entrance of Eskaton Village and it is a closed community.Show more
