This was an easy hike to do. However, beware of tarantulas. That kind of ruined it for me. So if you're afraid of them, this isn't the hike for you

Biked and hiked here. It is easy, beautiful, and quick.

It’s a nice hike at the beginning because it starts off as a forest, but then it becomes open with nice views. This hike is infected with squirrels so every little noise you hear is them scaring you. The last half of the hike is full of little bugs flying all over you. Short but the steepness makes up for it. Great for beginners and kids. Once you reach GMR street, you’ve reached the end of the hike.

Parking is free and about 4 spots right at the entrance of the trail. Best bet, park near the tennis courts so you don’t bug the neighbors with your car. Plus it’s extra 5 min walk to get started.

Not to bad of a trail. Did it with my 4 year old son. We started on the west entrance to Bonnie cove trail. Good incline on some spots and also narrow. Wouldn't recommend strollers. You are next to the freeway so consider that as well for noise and scenic stuff.

Tackled this trail about two weeks ago and honestly despite its easy rating it’s not as easy as it’s described it’s a pretty steep uphill climb from beginning to end but not bad

Nice sunny morning for a good moderate hike. I went about 2 miles in and turned around. There were several mountain bikers, but they all were very courteous informing me as they passed, how many more riders were to follow. Flies were plentiful, but I had bug juice which worked well. I was a little disappointed when I drove up Glendora Mountain Road to find the gate closed (again). However, I realized that the trail head was only about 150 yards from where I parked at the gate. So I went around the gate and enjoyed the trail.

Went to hike Colby Trail but hiked this trail instead. Although it says moderate it was rather easy, no steep inclines but little rocky and narrow in some place. Even our little pug enjoyed the hike. Good thing most of the bikers have a bell on their bike otherwise you may not see them until it’s to late. Found a awesome tire swing and a cool little cave. Would definitely do this hike again.

Love this trail!!!

I didn't think I was ready for a hard hike. Was still building up to it. But I did it! It did feel good to reach the very top and then take the slower 4 mile hike around to get back down. if you're not ready for it, I would recommend using hiking poles.

A good trail to build endurance all the way up and down .....but going down , you have to be extra careful and courteous for hikers are also using the trails.....

The first mile is a 1100' elevation gain and is quite the workout. Once you reach the flag at mile one you can take two trails. The trail to the left is approximately 4 miles long and ends at Glendora Mountain Road. It is shady, relatively flat and is a pleasant hike. The trail to the right of the flag continues to ascend and travels further into the canyon. This hike is classified as hard which is accurate.

This trail has some very very steep segments on a very dusty and slippery surface (dust, dirt, rocks). It is very easy to get injured on this poorly designed trail. Don’t recommend. There are much better options in the area.

Fun little trail for beginners, be prepared for a little bit of surprise uphill at the beginning though! Glad to finally have checked this one off the list.

Not stroller friendly. ...really steep and narrow on the west trail .. took the fire road up and west hill down. A lot of traffic and kind of sketchy. Not with kids

Beautiful scenic hike that will offer beautiful views, an opportunity to be in a state of complete silence, a chance to hear your echo as you yell into the mountains, and various routes to sift through as you transcend into nature's simple beauty above the city of Glendora. This is a hike. Will be back! Also, if you want a challenge, go up elevated trails. Punk out trail is about a mile in. Its an awesome challenge.

This is one of my absolute favorite trails. it's a great work out but not overbearing and offers gorgeous views!

Brutal! Definitely hard. Feel like I need to be in better shape and bring more water

This trail is rated hard I would say easy to moderate not hard .Has a lot of bike riders flying down so beware ! But overall good hike would do again.

Nice trail for most. lower part is fun for kids but wouldnt recommend kids once you get to the hook and start heading up. Keep your eyes open! A mountain lion was roaming today#

I love this trail because There are different trails and it's all up hill so you get a good workout also there are spots that overlook all off San Gabriel valley, Orange County and west...

Great quick and steep hike. Lot's of foot traffic. Hiking poles were helpful for the steep parts.
