This trail is one of my favorites. Shady, so much greenery and the dirt trail is soft. A few picnic tables or benches provided along the way for enjoying the views. I went on a weekday so I may have seen about 5-6 people.

We started at 1:30 and were done by 4:45. What a great hike and absolutely breathtaking nature! Hot sunny day and shady paths. Visiting Jack London’s Cottage was like a trip to the past; his office and books can be viewed along with some eclectic artwork and music playing from his days. Very Magical! The paths are not too difficult but a fairly good work-out if your walking. One of the best places to adventure to. Upon leaving today, the event taking place was Broadway Under The Stars; which I had been to before a long time ago.

Definitely do the trail clockwise for a challenging climb. And the best part- pick blackberries at the begining or end of your hike!

Another great trail lots of shade well maintained. And not many people other than a couple people riding bikes, very peaceful hike,
Internet almost the whole trail until you get to across to Jack London state park.
If you continue a little past the end of this trail you get to a short “park summit” trail this is the highlight of the park and should not be missed.

A quaint trail in scenic Sonoma. The lake loop trail is an easy walk with a great view of the water. No fishing here. No swimming either, but didn’t seem to stop the local kids. Will definitely check out more trails in this area.

Dog friendly but beware of foxtails- very bad in June. Lake is disappointing but the trail is easy and nice.

Lightly used trail through woods up to great vista of sonoma. Sneaky long but steady climb. I ran the trail. Single track mountain biking allowed.

This trail was a fun 3.5 hour hike. It combines what the parks brochure calls the London lake trail (a 2 mile moderate) into the full 8 mile Park Summit Trail listed as “strenuous.”

At times it could be decently steep, with loose terrain in places. We went in May and did not experience any ticks, biting bugs etc. The trail itself was well groomed and the park was easy to navigate. The view from the top was worth the hike. Upon decent through the multiple high-altitude Meadows we came across many deer, a small non-poisonous snake and other wildlife.

Making a beautiful recovery after the fires. Always loved this park, great for a hike with the mutt. The old oaks and small lake make nice scenery for a spring stroll.

had a great hike it ended up being a little over 9 miles, the trails are not marked the best and there was a lot of ticks . But it was still a very good workout hike lots of incline and decline. I loved the peek a boo views through the trees, it was a great shaded hike.

Great light trail with plenty of benches, water, and even a porta potty along the way. Great for leashed dogs, or leave them at home and explore the museums. This trail would definitely be considered stroller friendly as well, as the majority is paved.

great and enjoyable moderate hike: forest, fruit trees, vineyards. superb views on the valley from the ridge

Great hike!, the view from the top is worth it all and you passed through a bunch of beautiful Redwood stands and cross a couple small Creeks before you get to some open Meadows with lots of beautiful oak trees.

It’s a keeper, just hard enough to be a workout, beautiful vineyards nearly untouched by fire

Came for a day hike! Beautiful redwood trees! It is a nice strong solid hike lots of places to stop to rest. Beautiful places to take pictures. It was very damp and cold. Wear layers. Very peaceful!

We started at the Vineyard Trail, followed by the Coon Trap Trail. Much of the ascent was on the coon Trap Trail. Once reached to top it was a gradual downward slope through the beautiful woods. It was a great hike.

Agree with the review below that total length is 8 miles from parking lot ($10). Beautiful mostly shaded trail with wide open at the top and nice views. Rec hiking shoes. If you're looking for a good lunch spot after, Benzinger Winery is just down the road and allows your to bring your own picnic!

Overall nice trail and mostly shaded. I recommend long pants as there are currently goatheads on the trail. Sun protection is also a must during summer as there is little to no shade at the top. Overall a nice hike with some local history.

Start at parking lot and follow Lake Trail to Mountain trail. Mostly shady, steeper and sunny at the Summit. Saw deer. Beautiful! Interesting information about Jack London in Cabin.

The coon trail is currently closed for restoration. It was too steep and hard to follow. I turned around and retraced my steps for a total of 10 miles. An awesome trail run! Beware of spider webs as you run. I was the first on the trail for the day and ran into several.

There are 30-miles of hiking trails in this State Park, and the highlight is Jack London's burned-down mansion, Wolf House.

Great stop. The home which is now the museum was beautiful and very well put together with lots of information. Love the preservation of history and arts and in a beautiful location.

Absolutely stunning! A bit muddy in spots from recent rains, but doable and so worth the trek to the summit.

Enjoyed our walk with our dog on the leash. Plenty of others out enjoying the trails. Main trail asphalt, lots of trails to meander thru no matter your level. Free parking off Arnold.
