We didn’t do the entire loop but the portion we tried was moderately populated on a wide path. Dogs ok. Lots of trees and shade in parts and horses too.

Easy walk on a paved path. Kid and dog friendly. Some steeper hills

Many drinking fountains along the walkway.

Easy loop trail. I parked behind Summit House restaurant which is very close to the trailhead.

No parking at the trailhead at Brea Blvd., but a large shopping center is only 1/4 mile to the north. The trail is surprisingly quiet being so close to many things.

Great scenery. Has lake. Easy hike and casual.

A nice challenge. Good for hiking/walking. You can bring your dog it jus tha to be on a leash at all times. There’s a path for bikers to use, there’s also one for hikers/walkers. And there’s a gorgeous view of Fullerton!

It was ok. It’s mostly through neighborhoods but the part that is not in a housing development is beautiful

Free open parking along the road

Enjoyed the hike at this park.

Amazing views!!

Such lovely weather for this today: sunny and 75, perfect visibility. At the top of the trail I could see Catalina Island and a strip of ocean in front of it. Took a double running stroller with my twin toddlers--there was a spot I had to turn around and bring it up the trail backwards over huge tree roots, and there were some deep cracks from the rain on the sandy trail that were tough to get over, but over all it was doable. There's a lot of uphill, but it was so fun.

This trail is in a very nice neighborhood. It's an easy hike that takes about an hour 15 min if you stop to look at the views. You can't see the parking lot from the street. it's uphill just follow signs for the Summit hill restaurant. The view is fantastic it's definitely worth seeing. Unfortunately 1.5 miles of the trail are along big streets. They did a great job however with the trees on the side of the road they give lots of shade so even on a hot day like today it was pretty bearable. But it is still a big street and all you can hear is cars. After that the trail leads through a very nice upscale neighborhood (pretty houses to look at and some views but not much untouched nature). only the last quarter of a mile of the entire, almost 3 mile, hike actually leads through pure nature which is mostly dried up brush during this time of the year. It will probably be really gorgeous during winter or spring. All in all if you want to see Nature don't hike here but if it is mainly about walking and working out this trail is lovely.
Oh and also there are no restrooms.

Super easy trail. Great for families and dogs. The whole way is paved except if you want to make your way up to the dam, that part is dirt. There are water fountains here and there throughout the park and bathrooms along the trail.

Clean trail. Easy for the most part except the last hike up Bastanchury

Love this trail! I used to always run it during cross country for practice!

I made it in one hour and twenty minutes with Cesar De vera

We started out on Bastanchury Rd. And the last half was all uphill: very good workout!

Did in a rainy day because it was close. But the trail is in bad shape and rough from biking. Lots of bikes! Views nice. But graffiti and trash made it feel like bad urban.

Not hard at all!!! I came here with my kids and they didn't enjoy it as much as other trails around the area. I saw someone doing this in flip flops! That shows you what kind of trail this is.

A nice shady walk, rolling hills great to get started with.

For a 55 yr old, it's.a very good trail with short uphill stretches that gets the blood flowing. Following the map takes roughly an hour to finish. Park itself is very nice and well maintained. Park along State College Blvd. and just walk in to avoid park fees.
