Really nice spot for a picnic, super easy walk that's beginner accessible. just maybe not on a super hot day cusbtheres a long stretch with zero shade.

I’ve been waiting for 40 years for decent, public access to our river in Fresno and this is a joke. When I was a kid the police would chase us out of this area because the land “near” it was owned by a golf course which would call the police when they saw anyone (not on golf course property) so at least people have a right to be here now but you can barely get a bike through the gate and it’s unclear where boundaries are, not to mention it seems virtually unmaintained. Fresno is a great example of too much private ownership of a natural resource like this river that should freely accessible and safely maintained for everyone.
God, I hope the path from Woodward park is eventually connected to this point as planned but I fear I’ll be too old to enjoy it by then. Maybe my children can enjoy it by the time they are middle aged

Great little trail for kids and see a few birds and turtles in the pond.

Not really nice. Lots of trash and graffiti littering the path. Path is only paved alongside the golf course. You’d have to veer of path considerably to get close to water.

Seemed to be several homeless camps along the path, didn’t feel too safe even in broad daylight.

i miss riding my bike along this trial. used to ride this 3x per week when I lived closer to Woodward

Fun trail for small children. Lots of wildlife surrounding the trail and in the pond. Nice old farm home and picnic area.

Fun little trail around the pond! Great for children.

Not a very nice view of the San Joaquin and not what I was expecting. Sadly, the trail is polluted with trash and graffiti.

It’s a very nice and challenging trail. There are sections that are quite steep. The Saturday that I rode it was busy. Some pedestrians are oblivious to bicycle traffic. They don’t stay in the right lane. Today was the first day of over 80 degree weather. Summer rides will require you to bring water. There is not much shade at the north end of the trail.

Super cute, fun, stroller friendly trail that’s short enough for my young kids to walk themselves. And lots of fun stops along the way.

Cute trail. My son enjoyed it. Big owls nest with eggs , a painted tunnel.. nice interactive loop trail.

It very busy but my boyfriend doesn’t like to get his shoes dirty so the paved trail was perfect.

Fun walk to do with kids and dogs

A nice hike to do with kids. No parking lot, just neighborhood street parking.

Nice short walk around the pond by the River Center. Fun for small children, usually a few birds and rabbits around. So close to Fresno that everyone living here should visit at least once to learn about our coolest local natural resource.

Nice in City hike. Parking is $5 as of April 2017. lots of options when it comes to paths and most are intertwined. feel comfortable scrambling towards the Apex of the hike. There is water in 1 location that we could easily see.

Very nice trail to take kids too! They enjoyed spotting the rabbits, turtles, & ducks.
