Great, well-maintained trail for hiking, and especially trail running or mountain biking! Overall no major altitude change but it’s rarely flat. Good views of the valley, but you should watch your footwork! Will come back with the dog sometime too

Hot and exposed. SO. MANY. TICKS. It took hours to remove dozens and dozens of ticks from my dog after this hike.

it was easy nice hike. view of lake was beautiful

Easy and perfect length hike. Not too too busy for a nice weather Sunday during COVID-19.

Two votes for counter clockwise! And yes, there are a lot of bugs. And a lot of different wild flowers!

Hilly, nice trail. No place to sit and rest until over half way through. Very scenic. Wildflowers were beginning to bloom.

such a beautiful hike. very good for beginners. so many views but minimal shade so be aware!

Great hike and if done early in the morning you can take dogs because in mid day it gets warm.

In the process of “fixing” the trail they’ve made it 2-3x it’s previous size, it’s practically a fire access road. I’m not sure if they are done yet but it’s a hot mess. Used to be nicer, maybe not worth it anymore.

Nice walk! Kid friendly. The trail is narrow and half of the people on the trail are bike riding. So if you have small ones keep that in mind. Nice view of the lake once on top. Went in the afternoon so the weather was nice.

I love hiking at Daley Ranch but hadn’t explored this section of the land yet. It was well worth it! The views were wonderful. I saw a couple coyotes, some rabbits, and many squirrels. Lots of blooming flowers as well. There is a steep climb to start and then blissful marching along the ridge for quite awhile. Bring a good hat and plenty of water as there is minimal shade.

Definitely one worth the hike! Would recommend to start earlier in the day as it gets pretty hot and there’s hardly any shade, that being said do bring lots of water!!! Overall this trail wasn’t too difficult, however it was pretty long, depending what route you take. You will see a waterfall and small creek along the way! Enjoy it! (:

Mostly flat trail with a big duck pond for the kiddos to enjoy. Other than that not a whole lot to see but this is definitely a good spot for a leisurely stroll or a picnic. Just be sure to avoid the areas with the disc golfers.

We did this trail today, 5/25 Memorial Day. Started at 10:30am and it took about two hours. We did the counter clockwise loop. Loved it! Lots of bugs though but beautiful scenery. It was in the low 70’s, I wouldn’t recommend doing this one on a hot day.
