Nice walk in comfortable setting. I would recommend walking or biking.

One of my favorites! You can go in several different directions to connect with other trails. Great way to spend a Saturday.

A lovely area and there are several other trails nearby. A great urban escape.

The first mile doesn’t have shade, so make sure to start/finish when it’s cool.

The best park I have been to in the Elk Grove area!

A nice walk in the city. Starts and ends by a Starbucks. A few water fountains along the route that I marked on my track. All paved and nice views.

Was an easy walk with 2 dogs. Traffic wasn’t too heavy and most of the trail offers shade. Very nice easy Sunday stroll.

OK trail for a walk or jog. Mostly paved, wanders primarily behind residences and some commercial areas. Nothing really to see.

I take my 4 & 5 year old on this trail often and stop at Hill park for their playground/bathroom, let the kids play awhile and make our way back. From parking area to Hill park it's approx 1.1 miles. My kids liked it, a little complaining but I'm just now exposing them to hikes. A lot of cool birds, turtles, we even saw a beaver last time. Very calm, enjoyable hike.

Very quiet, and rather unimpressive trail. We only made it halfway. I was walking with my wife and 5 month old son and we realized it was not very shady. The temperature was low-80s but felt hotter on the blacktop with no shade. Would definitely try again on a cooler day.

Love walking this trail daily, so beautiful in the spring after the rain, everything so green

Beautiful trail. Got to see turtles, geese, ducks and butterflies. encountered super friendly people. also, the trail itself was clean and easy to navigate.

Nice park for families with lots of activities for kids and adults

very nice for being so close.

I really like this trail and often bring my dog. We start off by parking by Baskin Robbins on Elk Grove Blvd, take the trail to the park on Sheldon Rd then turn around. We usually stop at Petes Coffee on the way back for a treat. It's mostly flat, mostly paved, crosswalks (that work), and the trails are clean. I've never seen an overabundance of trash, no one that looks homeless or sketchy or have had any complaints about the trail. Would definitely recommend for families, joggers, dog walkers or anyone who would want to take a casual stroll.

Will probably become my weekly walk; loved it

Love this park.... the north east part of the big loop is infested with mosquitoes 4-18-19

beautiful around lake but be careful where you step, the paved walkway is covered in bird poop. Won't let my puppy walk through that.

Great for birding. Very easy and paved 99% of the way.

muddy

My husband and I decided to give this trail a try today. we arrived around 11am and did the trail everything was good til we got to some flooded spots on the trail that we could not maneuver around especially with our stroller. Our shoes and stroller wheels got pretty muddy half way thru the trail so we turned around and started walking back towards the center of the trail where the lake and geese were. we enjoyed the scenery but agreed it would've been great if we just came back on warmer day and not after it just rained. Definitely would come back for a jog.

Just muddy

easy walk with younger kids. scenic and peaceful.

Always a great walk. Something to see every season pf the year -,turtles, egrets, geese, ducks, river otters, red-winged black birds , fall colors and spring flowers.

Great crushed granite based outside loop to hike or run on. The inside loop is sidewalk and suitable for wheelchairs but messy with the overpopulation of ducks and geese. Great bike track for the kids and saw a 1/2 dozen or so fishing the little lake. Mostly shaded all around...

Nice beautiful loop through Camden Park partly along Laguna Creek. Great views of the creek and a nice neighborhood. Great wheelchair accessibility with a few bikes along the trail. Quite a few geese along the way as well. Elk Grove has some great city trails...

I followed GPS to the location. Took me to Elk Grove Blvd area. It was just a trail behind homes. it was nice and flat, okay for jogging and bikes. One was on the first leg (only part I did) was just under a mile.

Great bike trail with beautiful scenery along the creek. Maybe the best I've been on. Really enjoyed the views. I went to the end and walked on a city sidewalk and hit a raised section and fell hard and cracked some ribs. Made an Xray stop at Kaiser on the way home... So, as they used to say on Hill Street Blues "be careful out there"... I'm impressed with the lack of homeless on trails in Elk Grove as compared to cities to the south.

Surprised to see the usage by people in the business area it goes by. Quite a few from local businesses walking together. Came by a very tame family of turkeys. Lots of walkers and very few bicycles.
